You will support their development, clarify priorities and keep feedback flowing across locations.\nThis role blends people leadership with real technical ownership. You will contribute to PyTorch, Triton or related Frameworks work through design, implementation, review, debugging, testing or performance analysis.\nYou will help engineers deliver high-quality work while staying fully connected to their teams. It is a rare chance to shape both software outcomes and engineering culture at a growing site.\nThe team and culture\nFrameworks makes Graphcore hardware work seamlessly with the tools machine learning engineers and researchers use. The team builds PyTorch support, an out-of-tree Triton backend, framework integrations, runtime components, kernels, tests, performance tooling and user documentation.\nWork happens across locations, so clear writing, shared context and constructive challenge matter. You will help Gdańsk engineers stay close to technical leaders, team priorities and the decisions shaping delivery.\nPeople are trusted to take responsibility, speak up and move with purpose. The team values learning, maintainability, performance, ease of use and thoughtful collaboration with open-source communities.\nWhat we’re looking for\nExperience managing and developing software engineers, including coaching, feedback, performance management and career development\nStrong software engineering capability, with professional experience in C++ and Python\nClear written and verbal communication in English and Polish, especially when explaining complex technical context\nAbility to build alignment across teams, locations and disciplines\nPragmatism when balancing people leadership, hands-on technical contribution, engineering quality and delivery\nExperience with PyTorch, Triton, compiler development, MLIR, LLVM, machine learning kernels or accelerator architectures\nWhile we have outlined a set of requirements, we value transferable skills and diverse experiences.
