IT Product Owner Purchase

Task

Single IT point of contact for GPO Purchasing and local purchasing stakeholders for the designated Purchasing platform(s)IT application lifecycle ownership of the Purchasing platform including roadmap, releases, and technical debt managementTranslation of business requirements and process changes into epics, features and user stories with clear acceptance criteriaManagement and prioritization of the IT demand pipeline and product backlog in collaboration with Lean Portfolio Management, business counterparts, and other Product OwnersEnsuring harmonized global system setup aligned with Purchasing GPO guidelines and end-to-end process design including integration with FiCO where relevantCoordination and management of IT vendors and implementation partners for enhancements, projects, and problem resolution including 3rd level supportEnsuring applications operate according to agreed SLAs including monitoring, incident and problem management, and capacity/performance follow upMonitoring and management of technical interfaces between Purchasing, Finance and other connected systems ensuring data quality and stable integrationsSystem administration including user and role management, configurations, small enhancements, regression checks in line with IT security and compliance standardsSupport of platform rollout activities including cutover coordination, interface readiness, and hyper carePlanning and coordination of end user training, release communication and change impact assessments with business key users and GPO PurchasingOptimization of license usage and environment footprint to ensure cost-efficient use of the platform and related servicesWorking according to IT standards, policies, processes such as ITSM, security, architecture, Lean Portfolio Management, and agile ceremoniesCollection and analysis of feedback and usage data to drive continuous improvement and innovation such as new modules, AI capabilities, automation

Expectation

Several years of hands-on experience in software development, systems engineering, or IT operationsBroad knowledge across software architecture and design, cloud platforms, infrastructure, databases, networking, security, and integrationExperience in leading and managing projects to ensure successful outcomesStrong stakeholder management, consulting, and change management skillsProven experience in purchase processes, Coupa or similar toolsFluent German and English language knowledge
