Acting as platform custodian, this role drives scalability, security, performance, and adherence to enterprise architecture standards while remaining hands-on to guide and elevate development teams.\n\nKey Responsibilities : \n\n1. Platform Architecture : \n\n- Define Salesforce architecture and roadmap across Sales, Service, Field Service, and Partner Portal.\n\n- Design scalable, secure solutions aligned with enterprise architecture and Salesforce best practices.\n\n- Guide teams on declarative vs. programmatic solution trade-offs.\n\n2. Hands-On Development & Technical Leadership : \n\n- Develop and maintain Apex, LWC, and integrations as needed.\n\n- Conduct code reviews; enforce coding standards, design patterns, and governor limit compliance.\n\n- Guide teams on efficient Apex, SOQL, and reusable component design.\n\n3. Code Quality & Coverage Governance : \n\n- Define and enforce unit testing standards, code coverage thresholds, and test automation practices.\n\n- Review and approve critical code changes and architectural components.\n\n- Implement static code analysis and automated quality tools.\n\n4. Platform Health & Optimization : \n\n- Monitor API usage, governor limits, integration failures, batch jobs, and Apex errors.\n\n- Establish performance monitoring dashboards and proactively resolve bottlenecks.\n\n- Drive platform optimization and long-term sustainability initiatives.\n\n5. Integration Architecture : \n\n- Design and govern API-led integrations with resilient error handling and retry mechanisms.\n\n- Establish API standards, versioning strategies, and event-driven architecture patterns.\n\n6. Data Architecture & Governance : \n\n- Design enterprise Salesforce data models with Salesforce - SAP alignment.\n\n- Address large data volume (LDV) considerations and define strategies for data sync, quality, and lifecycle.\n\n7. DevOps & Release Governance : \n\n- Architect CI/CD pipelines, release management, environment strategies, and automated testing.\n\n- Experience with Copado or equivalent DevOps platforms preferred.\n\n8.
