credentials preferred. \nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:\nAdvanced knowledge of engineering principles, product design methodologies, materials, manufacturing processes, and product development practices. \nStrong proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo, AutoCAD, or similar design platforms. \nKnowledge of Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), value engineering, and continuous improvement methodologies. \nStrong understanding of product testing, validation, regulatory compliance, quality systems, and risk assessment techniques. \nAbility to interpret complex engineering drawings, specifications, standards, and customer requirements. \nExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. \nStrong project management and organizational abilities. \nExcellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills. \nAbility to lead technical projects, influence stakeholders, and work effectively across multiple functions.\nProficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, ERP systems, engineering software, and reporting tools. \nAdditional Desired Qualifications:\nAbility to work with and as a part of a team.\nAbility to work collaboratively with other functional areas of the business.\nSupervisory Responsibilities: None\nEssential Functions:\nLead the design, development, testing, validation, and launch of new products and product enhancements. \nManage complex engineering projects and ensure achievement of quality, cost, schedule, and performance objectives. \nDevelop engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and technical documentation to support product development and manufacturing. \nProvide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers, designers, and cross-functional project teams. \nCollaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Sales, and Marketing teams to support successful product launches and lifecycle management activities. \nConduct engineering analysis, product testing, and validation activities to verify compliance with product requirements and performance standards. \nInvestigate product performance issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions. \nIdentify opportunities for product improvements, cost reductions, quality enhancements, and operational efficiencies. \nSupport customer requirements, technical inquiries, and product customization requests as needed. \nParticipate in design reviews, risk assessments, regulatory compliance activities, and project gate reviews. \nResearch emerging technologies, materials, manufacturing methods, and competitive products to support innovation initiatives. \nMaintain product records, engineering changes, revision control documentation, and technical databases. \nPrepare technical reports, presentations, recommendations, and project updates for management and stakeholders. \nSupport strategic product roadmaps and long-term product development planning activities. \nPerform other duties as assigned in support of product development and organizational objectives\nPhysical Demands:\nOccasional lifting.\nSitting
