In this role, you will:\nDevelop new features end-to-end - from design to implementation, building the APIs and the frontend interfaces and visualizations they power\n\nBuild UI experiences for Gravitee's AI-related products, including AI Gateway management, agent monitoring, and MCP configuration interfaces\n\nContribute to both our open-source platform and Enterprise Edition\n\nUse LLMs and AI coding assistants (such as Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot or similar) as a core part of your engineering workflow - for rapid prototyping, code generation, testing, and debugging across the full stack\n\nWrite automated tests to ensure code quality, leveraging AI-assisted testing tools where appropriate\n\nApply engineering judgement to validate and refine AI-generated outputs, understanding that AI augments but does not replace solid engineering fundamentals\n\nCollaborate with other engineers and technical leaders to discover the best solutions, and support colleagues through code and design review\n\nStay curious about how AI capabilities intersect with API management, and contribute ideas for AI-powered features\n\nYour impact will be visible, measurable, and global.\nEssential Skills\nThe right candidate will possess at least the following skills:\n8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with significant experience building full-stack enterprise web applications\n\nStrong hands-on experience with Java 17+ and React languages\n\nGenuine full-stack experience, with the ability and willingness to work across both backend and frontend development\n\nStrong experience designing, developing, and working with REST/RESTful APIs\n\nExperience with MongoDB, JDBC, or other relational/database technologies\n\nSolid understanding of backend architecture, API design, and modern software engineering principles\n\nExperience with database technologies and data modelling, with the ability to understand and work confidently with database-backed applications\n\nStrong code-review skills and a track record of taking ownership of code quality\n\nAbility to understand existing architecture and assess the wider impact of code changes rather than working on features in isolation\n\nExperience with automated testing, Git/GitHub workflows, and agile software development\n\nHands-on experience using LLMs and AI coding assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar as part of your engineering workflow\n\nStrong judgement when working with AI-generated code.
