This role serves as the primary point of contact for project execution, schedule performance, quality assurance, field operations, subcontractor coordination, and risk management across multiple construction sites. The ideal candidate combines strong construction management expertise with leadership capabilities to ensure consistent project delivery, client satisfaction, and operational excellence throughout the assigned region.\nGeneral Job Duties:\nProvide regional oversight of construction activities across multiple data center and mission-critical projects, ensuring consistent quality, safety, and schedule adherence.\nServe as the primary regional point of contact for construction status, coordinating with project managers, site superintendents, subcontractors, general contractors, and client stakeholders.\nMaintain visibility into project progress, backlog, milestones, and completion status across active construction sites.\nEstablish and enforce construction standards, best practices, and documentation requirements across all regional projects.\nCoordinate labor resources, subcontractors, and construction sequencing across multiple concurrent projects to support successful project delivery.\nPartner with project management and engineering teams to align construction activities with project schedules and client expectations.\nConduct site visits, quality inspections, and progress reviews to ensure compliance with contract documents, design requirements, applicable codes, and GrayMatter standards.\nIdentify, communicate, and mitigate project risks, delays, and quality concerns that may impact schedules, budgets, or customer commitments.\nLead and manage construction subcontractors and field personnel, including onboarding, performance management, and safety compliance.\nSupport workforce planning, labor forecasting, and resource allocation for active and upcoming projects.\nMaintain project documentation, punch lists, as-built records, inspection reports, commissioning support documentation, and project closeout materials.\nCollaborate with engineering, commissioning, and project delivery teams to resolve field issues and constructability challenges.\nSupport project closeout activities, including final inspections, turnover documentation, and client handoff.\nChampion a culture of safety and ensure compliance with GrayMatter and customer-specific safety requirements.\nKnowledge, Skills and Experience Needed:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree, trade certification, or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related field preferred.\n5+ years of construction management, field operations, or project leadership experience with increasing levels of responsibility.\nDemonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent construction projects and field teams.\nExperience supporting data center, mission-critical, industrial, or commercial construction projects preferred.\nStrong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, subcontractor management, and project execution.\nAbility to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, schedules, and project documentation.\nWorking knowledge of applicable construction, electrical, and safety codes and standards.\nStrong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.\nExperience managing subcontractors, field labor, and construction quality programs.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office and project management/document control software.\nAbility to travel 50-75% throughout the assigned region, including overnight travel as required.\nCommitment to demonstrating GrayMatter's core values of Accountability, Integrity, Respect, Innovation, and Teamwork.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nOSHA 30 Certification.\nExperience in data center, mission-critical, or large-scale commercial construction environments.\nBICSI, NICET, PMP, or other construction/project management certifications.\nExperience managing regional construction portfolios or multi-site project programs.\nPrior experience leading construction activities from
