It’s the spirit of our people - the passion, commitment, and a great team environment - that makes our company a great place to work.\nVisa Sponsorship: This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.\nWho we want…\nBachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field) from an accredited college or university.\nProfessional Engineering License is required.\n5 to 7 years of experience in mechanical design within industrial or commercial projects.\nAdvanced proficiency in Bluebeam and 3D building modeling software (e.g., Revit) and experience with BIM workflows.\nDemonstrated experience of building codes and standards (IBC, ASHRAE, NFPA), and client-specific design requirements.\nAbility to perform load calculations and cost analysis using appropriate software.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills for system analysis, cost modeling, and performance optimization.\nDemonstrated leadership in mentoring junior engineers and managing design teams.\nExcellent oral and written communication skills.\nAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.\nProficiency in load calculation and cost analysis software.\nEnergetic, self-motivated, and committed to professional development.\nAbility to travel up to 25% of the time.\nQualifications\nWhat we expect…\nLead mechanical design efforts for assigned projects, ensuring compliance with client requirements and building codes.\nCoordinate with multidisciplinary teams to develop integrated design solutions.\nPerform advanced heating/cooling load calculations and energy code compliance assessments.\nCollaborate with the owner and project team to ensure systems are cost-effective and explore value engineering options.\nUse BIM and AutoCAD to incorporate designs into project models and drawings.\nSelect and specify mechanical equipment; design air distribution and piping systems.\nDevelop control drawings and system diagrams.\nUpdate and maintain engineering design standards.\nPerform and document design calculations to ensure compliance with applicable codes and client specifications.\nConduct quality control reviews of design documents, including drawings, specifications, and calculations.\nCollaborate with Project Managers and multidisciplinary teams to meet project schedulesand deliver complete, coordinated design packages.\nReview and respond to contractor RFIs, shop drawings, and product submittals, ensuringdesign intent is maintained.\nParticipate in client meetings and design reviews, providing technical input and supporting project delivery.\nSupport the development and refinement of internal design standards and best practices.\nAssist in mentoring junior engineers and designers, contributing to team growth and knowledge sharing.\nOther duties as assigned.\nPhysical Demands & Work Environment\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
