At Gray, you’ll find a culture built on teamwork, accountability, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact.\n“Personal growth precedes Gray’s growth.” - Stephen Gray, President & CEO, Gray, Inc.\nWhat we expect...\nManage subcontractor billing invoices- confirm completeness, accuracy, and maintain required backup documentation.\n\nManage the entry of subcontractor and Gray specific billing data into customer pay application.\n\nPartner with project management teams to ensure accurate, timely capture of all required project data in alignment with approved budgets, schedules of values, and contractual obligations.\n\nMonitor pay applications for compliance with customer standards, contract terms, and internal procedures.\n\nUpdate documentation and digital records to ensure all documentation is stored according to Gray Construction’s standard.\n\nMonitor the status and deadlines of each pay application and follow up with project teams or customers as needed to resolve discrepancies.\n\nUpdate records to provide accurate information for internal reporting and audits.\n\nAssist with special projects and training as necessary.\n\nWork closely with auditors on behalf of customer.\n\nPartner with Project Managers to ensure understanding of processes.\n\nOther duties may be assigned.\n\nQualifications\nWho we want…\nThe successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in accounting, mathematics, construction management, finance , or a related degree and/or a minimum of three years of related experience. Construction industry experience is preferred. This person must be physically present for work in the Lexington office with the potential for a hybrid remote work schedule. Minimal travel may be required.\nThe position requires proficient computer skills including the ability to utilize word processing, Excel spreadsheets, and e-mail applications. CMIC, Textura, or similar construction financial system experience is a plus. This role must be comfortable working with numerical data, documentation, and digital workflow, as well as repetitive or consistent tasks on a daily basis. Other requirements include strong organizational skills, attention to detail, the ability to solve problems, communicate effectively, and be able to coordinate efforts with internal Gray personnel as well as external vendors and suppliers.\nWe are seeking someone with a high degree of professional integrity.
