Passion, commitment,and a great team spirit all speak to the team members at Gray.\nQualifications\nPosition Summary\nWho we want… (Requirements)\nThe ideal candidate for the Project Manager, Strategic Projects role is an experienced, accountable professional capable of leading complex, cross-functional projects from planning through closeout.\nA bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, Business, or a related field is required and five to seven years of relevant experience; or any equivalent combination of education and experience. \nDemonstrated ability to manage scope, schedule, budget, risk, stakeholders, and executive reporting. \nPMP, Lean, Six Sigma, change management, or similar credentials are beneficial. Organized and execution-focused, the Project Manager leads project planning, governance, stakeholder coordination, and project controls while delivering measurable outcomes aligned with NexGen’s strategic objectives. \nThe successful candidate is a proactive problem solver and effective communicator who drives accountability, escalates issues appropriately, and builds strong cross-functional relationships.\nTravel requirements are up to 20%.\nThe new team member should be an energetic, self-motivated individual who enjoys a team environment, as well as a passion for collaboration and professional development. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nVisa Sponsorship: This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.\nWhat we expect… (Essential Functions)\nTranslate strategic initiatives into executable project plans with clear scope, milestones, resources, and accountability. \nCoordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align execution with strategic objectives. \nEstablish project governance, workstream ownership, decision-making, and escalation processes. \nManage schedules, budgets, resources, forecasts, and corrective actions. \nManage project risks, issues, scope, and change control. \nDefine and track KPIs, milestones, benefits, and project outcomes. \nProvide concise, decision-ready reporting and recommendations to leadership and project sponsors. \nLead workstream execution and hold owners accountable for commitments, quality, and issue resolution. \nCoordinate implementation readiness, communications, training, handoffs, and sustainment. \nMaintain accurate project documentation and current information within approved PMO systems. \nDrive continuous improvement through technology, lessons learned, and after-action reviews. \nSupport portfolio planning and exercise day-to-day authority over assigned projects within approved scope, budget, schedule, and governance.\nPerform other duties as assigned. \nPhysical Demands & Work Environment\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
