At Gray, you’ll find a culture built on teamwork, accountability, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact.\n“Personal growth precedes Gray’s growth.” - Stephen Gray, President & CEO, Gray, Inc.\nWhat We Expect\nMust have general knowledge of all building trades and a specific knowledge of either the mechanical, piping or electrical trades.\nOversee Commissioning Specialist, and APM Commissioning staff and provide training for employee career advancement.\nAssist in developing commissioning scope.\nReview Subcontractor Exhibit A scope of work for commissioning to ensure commissioning scope is included and adequate for the project needs.\nAssist in the Training of Site teams and subcontractors in the use of CxAlloy Commissioning database.\nAssist in writing commissioning plans\nAssist in the development of Commissioning database for projects, Setup Commissioning checklists, Provide User Access permissions to Database, develop systems list, room lists, equipment lists from design documents, and submittal data and import data into database. Manage database for project.\nPerform Commissioning Audits on project sites to determine performance of commissioning activities of the site team resources and sub-contractors.\nGenerate Commissioning Status reports for each discipline and provide site team and subcontractors feedback on deficiencies.\nResponsible for commissioning and overseeing the installation of various equipment and systems on site. They ensure products are working according to their specifications and meet the client’s needs. Oversees all disciplines.\nManage and execute commissioning checklists and equipment status in the commissioning database.\nEngage subcontractors to provide startup reports, test reports, IOMs, Spare Parts Lists,\nLead on site commissioning meetings with site team and subcontractor resources.\nWork with Site team to assist in the development of commissioning schedule.\nAttend Pre-construction meetings and lead discussions on roles and responsibilities for commissioning.\nBe on site for equipment verification during equipment delivery, inspect for damage, and ensure receiving checklists are performed.\nOther duties may be assigned.\nQualifications\nWho We Want\nBachelor's degree from four-year college or university; and a minimum of three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nMust possess basic computer skills including the ability to utilize CxAlloy, word processing, spreadsheet and email applications. May also require working knowledge of scheduling applications.\nExperience as the lead project manager or commissioning manager of a construction project is required. Preference will be given to candidates with a bachelor’s degree in a related field (Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture).\nMust have experience managing all disciplines for commissioning projects.\nMust have experience in setting up at least two CxAlloy Commissioning databases for all disciplines.\nMust have assisted in and maintained written commissioning plans on at least two projects.\nThe new team member should be an energetic, self-motivated individual who enjoys a team environment, as well as a passion for collaboration and professional development. Overtime may be required.\nSupervisory Responsibilities\nMay supervise project support team members, as well as subcontractors.\nThe wage range for this role takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; as well as other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
