At Gray, you’ll find a culture built on teamwork, accountability, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact.\n“Personal growth precedes Gray’s growth.” - Stephen Gray, President & CEO, Gray, Inc.\nWhat We Expect\nServe as on-site Safety Officer for assigned\nMonitor and inspect the job site for health and safety compliance, identifying any potential hazards that may result in injuries or accidents.\nImplement all proper safety and health policies onsite, discussing any issues with the project manager, contractor, and other safety professionals.\nProvide health and safety training and information to all employees onsite to ensure that site safety requirements are being met at all times.\nEstablish and manage a jobsite safety culture in accordance with Gray’s safety program.\nAssist in onboarding and mentoring of new site safety team members on your assigned project.\nReview, evaluate and make determination on contractor site safety programs.\nMentor contractors to help assure compliance with Gray guidelines.\nMaintain owner and Gray specified safety records. Assist in developing project specific site safety plans and an emergency response plan.\nConfers with supervisory personnel to resolve complaints and grievances within work force.\nOther duties may be assigned.\nQualifications\nWho We Want\nBachelor’s degree in occupational or environmental health and safety (or similar) and a minimum of 5 years of related construction safety experience or training OR a minimum of 5-10 years of related construction safety experience or training\nPossess leadership skills that helps cultivate a cohesive and successful team\nLight/heavy industrial construction experience\nMust have ability to identify known potential exposures and lead implementation of corrective actions.\nExcellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving\nMust have strong interpersonal skills and be able to communicate well both verbally and in writing.\nMust possess basic computer skills including the ability to utilize Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.), tablets and\nNCSO and Advanced First Aid stronglyVisa Sponsorship: This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.\n\nThis position requires travel as our projects are scattered throughout the United States and, in some cases outside of the U.S..
