We strive to be the best contractor withdemonstrating a culture of Safety, Quality and Performance to deliver the best completed projects to our customers.\nSummary:\nThe Journeyman Electrician plans, lays out ,installs and repairs wiring, electrical fixtures, apparatus and controls equipment, as well as directing and training Electrician Helpers to do the same.\nEssential Duties:\nElectrical Safety - work safely around the hazards associated with electricity. Select the proper applications for different types of voltages (i.e. 24, 120,240,480,600,12,800 61kv\nElectrician Tools - use hand, electric, pneumatic and hydraulic tools in a safe manner.\nP&ID / Blue PrintReading - Correctly reads and understands plans, isometrics, arrangement drawings, details, specifications, erection manuals and/or blue printsand makes competent decisions based on measurable criteria.\nWorking knowledge of National Electric Code\nHave sound knowledge of, understandand use Lock-out tag-out procedures\nIdentify conduit and hardware\nMeasure, cut and thread conduit\nPull cable and wire conduit\nIdentify cable tray and hardware\nFabricate and install hangars and brackets\nMount junction boxes\nFigure, cut and install cable tray with offsets\nPerform cad weld grinding\nFigure offsets, bend and install conduit \nIdentify types and sizes of wire, cable insulation and color code of multi-conductor\nIdentify electrical meters and instruments\nInstall ground lugs\nInstall lugs on 4/0 and larger cable\nRead wire/cable schedules\nOther duties by trade and assigned by supervisor\nQualifications:\nFour (4) years minimum heavy industrial field experience as an Electrician.\nMaintain a current State Electrical license where required.\nCompletion of welding certification(s) required by company and/or client.\nMust have locking toolbox and tools necessary to perform the job.\nMust be able to successfully complete all required pre-hire requirements. \nPhysical/Site Requirements:\nLift and carry heavy items weighing up to 45 pounds.\nMove in and around confined and cluttered places, and uneven areas. Full range of motion and flexibility consistent withage.\nWork up to a 12-hour shift in varying temperature extremes and other outsideconditions.\nClimb and maintain balance on steel framework, stairs, ladders, andscaffolds.\nPPE footwear/prescription safety glasses or eye shields required. \nGraywolf Integrated Construction Company is an equal opportunity employer.
