We strive to be the best contractor with demonstrating a culture of Safety, Quality and Performance to deliver the best completed projects to our customers.\nSummary:\nGrayWolf is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Controls Engineer (Scheduler) to support our field operations team on-site. This role is essential in driving schedule performance, supporting productivity planning, and providing accurate reporting to both internal teams and clients. The ideal candidate brings strong scheduling (P6) expertise, field coordination skills, and the ability to anticipate and mitigate schedule risks across complex industrial construction projects.\nEssential Functions\nDevelop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.\nLead 3-week lookahead planning sessions with superintendents, general foremen, and engineers.\nTrack and forecast labor requirements and resource usage throughout the project lifecycle (hours earned/burned and productivity).\nMaintain and verify quantity tracking and input into project budget systems.\nProvide accurate, timely reporting to both internal teams and external stakeholders.\nSupport the Project Manager with schedule-based cash flow projections, forecasting, and invoicing.\nFacilitate subcontractor pre-mobilization meetings to ensure schedule alignment.\nLead weekly subcontractor coordination and progress review meetings.\nIdentify schedule acceleration opportunities and productivity improvement initiatives.\nMonitor subcontractor performance and report on schedule deviations.\nParticipation safety program, attending safety meetings and other related activities as required.\nMust be able to work variable hours as needed including weekends and holidays. \nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nQualifications: \nMinimum of 3 years’ experience of scheduling/project controls on US heavy industrial construction projects required.\nBachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineer preferred.\nAbility to read blueprints, interpret work plans and use inventory tracking software.\nStrong understanding of US based construction methods, field operations, and scheduling best practices.\nOSHA 10/30 preferred but not required\nDesired Skills or Knowledge\nAbility to coordinate and facilitate work across a broad range of personnel, supervision, craft, engineers and project managers. Must be collaborative and able to openly engage with colleagues to achieve project goals.\nMust be very well-organized and be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with a high rate of accuracy.\nMust be flexible with day-to-day duties and able to thrive in a dynamic environment.\nProficient in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and MS Office Suite.\nExperience with Navisworks is a plus.\nExperience in O365 - Sharepoint, Teams, Excel and MS Project. \nPhysical/Site Requirements:\nLift and carry heavy items weighing up to 45 pounds.\nMove in and around confined and cluttered places, and uneven areas. Full range of motion and flexibility consistent with age.\nWork up to a 12-hour shift in varying temperature extremes and other outside conditions.\nClimb and maintain balance on steel framework, stairs, ladders, and scaffolds.\nPPE footwear/prescription safety glasses or eye shields required.
