We are known for safe execution, high performance, and commitment to doing the job right.\nPosition Summary\nWe are seeking an experienced Senior Planner/Scheduler to lead schedule development and execution across complex, large-scale heavy industrial construction projects. This is a senior-level role for a seasoned planning professional who has owned the full scheduling lifecycle. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in integrated master scheduling, critical path management, earned value, and subcontractor governance and can operate with authority across field, engineering, and client teams.\nCore Responsibilities\nDevelop and maintain integrated, cost- and resource-loaded master project schedules supporting field execution across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and startup activities.\nLead schedule development and coordinate planning alignment across construction, engineering, procurement, fabrication, and subcontractor teams.\nDrive weekly critical path reviews, variance analysis, and recovery planning efforts to protect key project milestones and field execution objectives.\nLead 3-week lookahead planning sessions with superintendents, general foremen, and engineers to coordinate executable work plans and maintain field execution alignment.\nSupport the implementation of Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) and Field Installation Work Package (FIWP) methodologies to improve field productivity, labor efficiency, and planning discipline.\nOversee earned value management (EVM), earned labor tracking, and progress measurement systems to support accurate forecasting and performance reporting.\nConduct schedule health reviews to proactively identify execution risks, productivity impacts, and schedule variances.\nMaintain active field engagement with superintendents and construction leadership to validate progress, identify execution constraints, and support accurate schedule forecasting.\nFacilitate subcontractor pre-mobilization meetings, weekly coordination sessions, and progress reviews to ensure schedule alignment and execution readiness.\nMentor junior planners and subcontractor schedulers on scheduling standards, planning best practices, and field execution coordination.\nPartner with Project Managers and construction leadership on forecasting, change management, manpower planning, cash flow projections, and executive reporting.\nProduce manpower forecasts, commodity curves, performance dashboards, and variance analyses for internal leadership and client stakeholders.\nIdentify schedule recovery and acceleration opportunities while driving continuous improvement initiatives across planning, productivity, and field operations.\nExperience supporting schedule recovery efforts, delay analysis, and change management processes strongly preferred.\nQualifications\nEducation & Training\nBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.\nEquivalent combination of technical training and hands-on multi-discipline scheduling experience will be considered.\nWork Experience\nMinimum 10+ years of progressive planning and scheduling experience on large-scale heavy industrial construction projects, preferably including EPC, Power Generation Oil & Gas, LNG, Petrochemical, Pulp & Paper, Pharmaceutical or related heavy industrial sectors.\nProven track record leading integrated project scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and multi-discipline planning execution on complex industrial projects.\nSkills & Knowledge\nExpert-level proficiency in CPM scheduling methodology, critical path analysis, and schedule risk assessment.\nAbility to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and multi-discipline resource plans.\nExperience producing executive-level schedule analytics.\nStrong leadership presence with the ability to mentor junior planners and influence subcontractor scheduling teams.\nTechnical Proficiency\nExpert-level proficiency in Primavera P6.\nFamiliarity with Oracle, SAP, or similar systems for procurement tracking and cost management a plus.\nProficient in MS Office Suite; experience with Navisworks and Microsoft Project a plus.\nPhysical / Site Requirements\nMust be able to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.\nAbility to visit construction sites\nClimb stairs/ladders as needed\nWear PPE\nWork in industrial environments\nGraywolf Integrated Construction Company is an equal opportunity employer.
