This role involves deploying, configuring, and maintaining operating systems, applications, and security tools, as well as troubleshooting technical issues to deliver a seamless user experience. The End Point Engineer collaborates with IT teams to implement best practices, optimize performance, and support organizational technology initiatives.\n\nProvides technical analysis and assistance to resolve desktop/laptop/printer and application problems.\nUpdates, follows up and resolves incidents and service requests within agreed SLA.\nSupports basic network related and server system issues.\nEnsures quality of fixes and patches. \nApplies patches and upgrades to Windows OSs and applications accordingly as assigned. \nUpdates Service Management on the ticket status and ensuring the tickets are resolved within agreed SLA timeline.\nMonitors support issues at sites to identify patterns and common issues with the aim of prioritizing resolution of issues that significantly improve the degree of reliability and quality of services.\nDevelops workaround and fixes for new incidents. \nMonitors the regional Service Management team members and ensure that all escalations, process and procedures are adhered to. \nPerform daily, weekly or monthly reporting. \nTakes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.\nMaintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.\nHighlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.\n\nWe are looking for people with\nDegree in Computer Science, IT or its related discipline \nMinimum 3 years of experience as End Point Engineer.\nExcellent communicator, problem solving, management & organization skills \nAbility to make sound judgement and decision. \nPossess coordination skills in managing complex investigations or incidents. \nStructured, independent and self-reliant. \nResponsible, pro-active, reliable and trustworthy character.\nStrong experience with Windows 11 administration and patching, Group Policy Object (GPO) management required \nStrong experience with Windows, MAC & IPADOS/IOS management\nStrong experience with application and patching deployment\nExperience with Powershell scripting\nExperience with LanDesk (Ivanti) or Intunes administration is a plus point\nHigh level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork.\nTakes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes.\n\nHow you succeed\nChampion and embody our Core Values in everyday tasks and interactions.\nDemonstrate high level of integrity and accountability.\nTake initiative to drive improvements and embrace change.\nTake accountability of business and regulatory compliance risks, implementing measures to mitigate them effectively.\nKeep abreast with industry trends, regulatory compliance, and emerging threats and technologies to understand and highlight potential concerns/ risks to safeguard our company proactively.\n\nWho we are\nFounded in 1908, Great Eastern is a well-established market leader and trusted brand in Singapore and Malaysia.
