Great Gray currently supports a hybrid work model with 4 days onsite, and 1 day remote.\nVisa sponsorship or transfer of an existing visa is not available for this position. Applicants must be authorized to work directly for any employer in the United States without visa sponsorship or transfer.\nResponsibilities\nDevelop and enhance scalable, maintainable, cost-effective cloud solutions using javascript, using Angular and React frameworks.\nCollaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into efficient, maintainable, scalable, and high-quality solutions.\nDrive technical excellence through thorough code reviews, identifying opportunities for optimization, and enforcing best practices in code quality, security, and performance.\nProactively monitor and maintain business-critical platforms and services, ensuring high availability and seamless user experiences.\nDiagnose and resolve complex technical issues, minimizing downtime and continuously improving system efficiency.\nContribute to innovation by exploring emerging technologies, design patterns, and architectural improvements to keep our solutions cutting-edge.\nA problem-solving mindset and the ability to contribute to technical discussions.\nStrong collaboration skills, fostering an environment of shared learning and innovation.\nA passion for best practices, design patterns, and driving excellence in development.\nThe ability to balance multiple priorities while maintaining high-quality outcomes.\nComplete other related duties as assigned\nRequired Qualifications & Experience\nExhibits our Great Gray attributes: Growth Mindset, Disciplined Curiosity, Grit, Results Ownership, Collaboration.\nBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.\n5+ years of software engineering or development experience with front-end technologies like Angular, React, or Next.js\nStrong experience building responsive, user friendly frontends with excellent user experiences.\nStrong experience integrating web-application frontends with APIs backed by microservices and event driven architectures.\nPreferred Qualifications & Experience\nAbility to articulate and implement best practices, design patterns, and software architecture.\nA problem-solving mindset and the ability to lead technical discussions.\nAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.\nA growth mindset with an eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving challenges.\nComfortable navigating ambiguity.\nEntrepreneurial mindset to bring best practice ideas to the team.\nTech Stack\nOur current tech stack is a blend of existing and next-gen tools/languages, and like our company itself, our software is always evolving.\nFrontend: Angular, React\nBackend: C# .NET\nData Layer: MSSQL, Python, Postgres, Databricks\nInfrastructure: Azure cloud\nTooling: Cypress, Docker, GitHub, Claude Code, SonarQube\nBase Pay Range*\n$140,000-$170,000\n*This base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.\nThe pay range displayed above is the base pay compensation range that Great Gray expects to pay for this position at the time of this posting. Individual compensation within this range depends on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, candidate’s prior education and relevant work experience and training as well as position location and local market demands.
