You’ll combine deep technical expertise with strategic leadership to drive platform excellence, team growth, and business impact.\nAs a Platform Engineering Leader - Salesforce, you will:\nTeam Leadership\nLead, mentor, and grow a team of Platform Administrators, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.\nConduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and career development planning.\nAdvocate for the team’s priorities within the broader engineering and product organization.\nRecruit and retain top talent.\nPromote a DevOps mindset and continuous delivery culture.\nCreate inclusive, high-trust environments that empower individuals and teams.\nPlatform Strategy\nDefine and execute Salesforce platform administration strategy and roadmap\nDrive platform adoption, optimization, simplification and technical debt reduction.\nEvaluate new platform capabilities and recommend opportunities for business use cases.\nTechnical Delivery & Innovation\nOwn end-to-end delivery of GreatAmerica’s key enterprise/ Salesforce platforms initiatives, ensuring quality, timeliness, and stakeholder satisfaction.\nStay current with platform capabilities and releases. Review, Plan and Communicate Salesforce major releases.\nStay current with Financial Industry platform capabilities, releases, and ecosystem trends.\nDrive innovation through evaluation and adoption of new enterprise platform features, tools, and integrations.\nEnsure compliance with security, data privacy, and regulatory requirements.\nParticipate in Solution Review and Architecture Review Forums to uphold platform integrity and best practices.\nArchitecture, Governance & Administration/Development\nOwn the end-to-end administration of one or more enterprise/Salesforce platforms\nEstablish appropriate controls for privileged access and segregation of duties.\nOversee licenses usage, user profiles, permission sets, roles, sharing, security, data quality, workflows, reports / dashboards and other platform configurations.\nPartner with IAM for automating user access management.\nReview / Evaluate third party packages with vendors and business stakeholders\nImplement robust logging, monitor system performance, availability, and usage; proactively address issues and optimize performance.\nCollaborate with engineering and business teams to implement customizations, workflows, and integrations.\nMaintain platform documentation, configuration standards, and change logs.\nEnsure platforms comply with data governance, privacy, and regulatory requirements.\nPartner with vendors and internal stakeholders for support escalations, roadmap planning, and feature adoption.\nTroubleshoot and resolve enterprise platform issues, ensuring platform health.\nIntegration & Data Collaboration\nProvide OpenAPI Specifications (OAS) for external teams integrating with enterprise platforms.\nCollaborate with other teams on data modeling, access, and integration concerns.\nExtend support for functional and non-functional testing teams to ensure quality delivery.\nCollaboration & Agile Execution\nPartner closely with Product Owners and cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.\nParticipate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, demos, grooming, and standups.\nContribute to design discussions, solution reviews, and process improvements.\nSupport cross-team dependencies and contribute to Agile Release Train planning (SAFe framework experience is a plus).\nTo be successful in this role you will need:\nCandidates must possess exceptional interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with internal & external resources, clients, and third parties \nStrong negotiation and collaboration skills and ability to develop and manage stakeholder expectations\nExceptional communication skills (both verbal and written)\nWork both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment\nCreate inclusive team environments that foster trust and a sense of empowerment\nEffectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment and excels at communicating shifts in prioritization\nAdapt to shifting business priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities\nMust be able to multi-task and have a combination of organizational and analytical skills\nStrong push to always gain a combination of business and technical knowledge of the product in their area\nMust be systems-oriented, enjoy working with new tools and be a self-motivated learner\nEntrepreneurial attitude, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment\nDemonstrated self-starter who is goal-oriented, a critical thinker, and a creative problem solver\nStrong sense of urgency and follow-through in addressing issues and meeting timelines\nEducation:\nBachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field.\nExperience:\n8+ years of experience in Enterprise/Salesforce Platform Administration or Systems Engineering.\n5+ years of technical leadership and people management preferred\nProven expertise in:Hands-on configuration, upgrades, and release cycles of Salesforce Platforms (Enterprise Platforms such as Open Finance Platforms, Fiserv and/or other Financial Platforms/Salesforce)\nWorking in regulated environments\nGit workflows, pull request reviews, merge conflict resolution\nAgile/Scrum methodologies; SAFe experience preferred\nMiddleware and cross-platform integrations patterns\nEvaluating third party solutions (Salesforce packages).\n\nOther Computer Skills\nAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, VS Code\nSharing rewards is an integral part of our culture.
