You’ll connect project needs with the skills and availability of our people, freelancers and delivery partners, helping teams make informed decisions before resource pressures affect delivery.\nWorking closely with Delivery Leads, Client Partners, Heads of Department, People and Finance, you’ll balance project priorities, commercial requirements and employee wellbeing. You’ll build confidence in the plan, make trade-offs clear and help us improve how resourcing works across Great State.\nWhat you'll be doing\nKeeping the agency connected. Maintain an accurate resource plan, looking ahead across confirmed projects, likely pipeline, leave and internal commitments.\n\nGetting ahead of challenges. Spot capacity gaps, scheduling conflicts and competing demands early, bringing practical options and clear recommendations.\n\nHelping people make decisions. Lead focused resource meetings and ensure priorities, decisions and actions are understood and followed through.\n\nCoordinating external support. Work with colleagues to secure freelancers, contractors and near-shore partners, keeping availability, costs and approvals visible.\n\nTurning data into useful insight. Produce clear reporting that helps teams understand capacity, demand and emerging risks, and informs wider workforce planning.\n\nBuilding better ways of working. Keep Synergist accurate and reliable, champion consistent planning processes and introduce practical improvements to workflows and reporting.\n\nYou'll thrive here if you..\nEnjoy bringing order to a busy, changing environment. You can explain a constraint, talk through the options and help colleagues reach a workable decision.\nYou take ownership, follow things through and build trusted relationships across different teams. You’re equally comfortable working through the detail of a schedule and stepping back to understand what it means for the agency.\nWe're looking for someone with\nExperience in resource management, workforce planning, production coordination, project operations or a similar role in a multidisciplinary environment.\n\nConfidence managing complex schedules and competing priorities, with a forward-looking view of capacity and demand.\n\nCommercial awareness, including how allocation decisions affect project budgets, utilisation, freelance costs and delivery.\n\nStrong stakeholder management and communication skills, including the confidence to raise concerns constructively.\n\nExperience coordinating freelancers, contractors or external delivery partners.\n\nConfidence working with operational data, producing useful reports and improving processes.\n\nExperience in a digital or technical agency, consultancy or other project-led business is essential.
