This role owns the full cycle of hourly hiring and supports employees and supervisors through consistent execution of HR processes.\nLocation: On-siteSchedule: Day shift with flexibility to come in early for third shift one to two times per month\nPay Range:Starting at $50,000 annually.Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity. This position may be eligible for benefits including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, and retirement plans.\nWhat You'll Do:\nOwn full-cycle hourly recruiting across all shifts\nPost jobs, screen applicants, conduct interviews, and issue offers\nManage candidate communication and pre-employment requirements\nConduct new hire orientation and required safety training\nEnter, update, and maintain employee data in the HRIS system\nProcess weekly hourly payroll and audit timekeeping accuracy\nTrack employee attendance and maintain attendance points per policy\nIssue attendance-related disciplinary documentation as required\nMaintain personnel files and HR documentation\nProcess employee status changes, corrective actions, and terminations\nProvide guidance on basic employee concerns and policy questions\nTrack training completion and support engagement initiatives\nSupport audits, compliance requirements, and HR communications \nAdminister and maintain the Progressive Discipline Program for non-exempt employees\nReview disciplinary actions and termination recommendations with supervisors and HR leadership\nMaintain personnel, medical, and terminated employee files in accordance with record retention requirements\nMaintain and track performance appraisals for non-exempt employees\nMaintain accurate facility headcount and hire accordingly\nProcess employee transactions including status changes, promotions, wage changes, and terminations\nSupport positive employee relations through communication and engagement initiatives\nReport unsafe conditions, injuries, and illnesses to supervision immediately\nEnsure compliance with all safety, environmental, quality, and employment regulations\nMaintain confidentiality in all aspects of the role\nPerform other duties as assigned\n\nWhy You'll Love Working for Us:\nCompetitive pay\nMatching 401K\nMedical, Dental and Vision Insurance\nPaid Holidays\nPaid Vacation\nCompany paid Short Term Disability\nCompany Paid Term Life Insurance\n\nWhat We Need from You:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\n2–4 years of HR or recruiting experience\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines\nAbility to handle confidential information professionally\nSchedule flexibility\nBilingual in Spanish\nManufacturing environment experience\nWeekly hourly payroll experience\nExperience with HRIS systems such as Dayforce\n\nAs a Fair Chance employer, Grede is committed to considering individuals who are rebuilding after past challenges.
