This position is accountable for developing and executing a comprehensive maintenance and reliability strategy that ensures maximum equipment availability, minimizes unplanned downtime, and protects the facility's ability to safely meet production, quality, delivery, and financial objectives.\nPay is $130k - $150k based on experience. \n\nKey Responsibilities\nServe as the plant's primary owner of equipment reliability, asset performance, and maintenance excellence.\nDevelop and execute a multi-year maintenance and reliability strategy focused on maximizing equipment uptime, reducing production risk, and supporting business growth objectives.\nEstablish reliability-centered maintenance programs that improve asset availability, extend equipment life, and reduce total cost of ownership.\nLead the development and execution of strategies that achieve sustainable reductions in unplanned downtime and recurring equipment failures.\nDrive a proactive maintenance culture centered on prevention, condition monitoring, predictive technologies, and disciplined work management processes.\nEstablish and manage key reliability metrics including equipment uptime, OEE, MTBF, MTTR, PM compliance, schedule compliance, and maintenance cost performance.\nUtilize maintenance and production data to identify reliability losses, prioritize improvement opportunities, and allocate resources to the highest business-impact areas.\nPartner with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain leaders to ensure equipment reliability supports customer commitments and production requirements.\nLead plant-wide asset risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for critical equipment and systems.\nEnsure maintenance planning and scheduling processes prioritize work that protects production capacity and minimizes operational disruption.\nDevelop long-range capital plans and asset replacement strategies based on risk, reliability trends, lifecycle costs, and business requirements.\nChampion continuous improvement initiatives that increase throughput, improve operational stability, and enhance overall manufacturing performance.\n The Maintenance Manager is directly accountable for:\nPlant equipment uptime and operational readiness.\nReduction of unplanned downtime events.\nReliability and performance of critical manufacturing assets.\nAchievement of maintenance budget and capital project objectives.\nDevelopment of a skilled, engaged, and accountable maintenance workforce.\nExecution of asset management strategies that support production requirements and business objectives.\nContinuous improvement of OEE, MTBF, PM compliance, and maintenance productivity.\nWhy You’ll Love Working for Us:\nWellness Programs and access to Worksite Wellness Center, including family members.\nComprehensive Benefit Package including Medical, Dental, Vision coverages.\nInsurance: Life, Supplemental Life, Short and Long-Term Disability.\n401(K) Match\nPaid Vacation and Holidays\nEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)\nPPE allowances\n\nWhat We Need From You:\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Maintenance Management, or a related field preferred.\nMinimum of 7 years of industrial maintenance experience, including progressive leadership responsibilities.\nDemonstrated success leading maintenance operations in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment.\nStrong knowledge of reliability-centered maintenance, CMMS systems, capital project management, budgeting, and maintenance best practices.\nExcellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.\n\nAs a Fair Chance employer, Grede is committed to considering individuals who are rebuilding after past challenges.
