This position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor of the shift.\nJoin our team! 12-hour shift with a competitive pay range of $22.00–$40.00+ per hour plus shift premiums. Starting pay is based on your performance on our skills assessment—an opportunity to demonstrate your expertise from day one!\n\nWhat We Need from You:\nMinimum of five years’ experience as a maintenance technician\nMust have hands-on experience with electrical\nMinimum of a High School diploma or equivalent\nAbility to collaborate effectively with team members and follow written/verbal directions\nKnowledge of electrical codes, as related to installations, basic hydraulics, and pneumatics\nKnowledge of control devices, high voltage maintenance, and troubleshooting\nPhysical capability to move freely throughout the facility; walk, bend, use ladders, lift 50 pounds\n\nWhat You'll Do:\nIncludes duties, such as repair and maintenance of plant facilities, machinery, and equipment in accordance with blueprints, manuals, and codes as directed by supervision and production requirements.\nHas the ability to function as a lead person in the absence of the supervisor.\nMust demonstrate proficiency in Hydraulics, Electrical, and Blueprint Reading.\nDemonstrates 110% compliance with safety and environmental procedures.\nSpecialized skills or technical training may be substituted to fulfill part of this requirement at the discretion of maintenance management.\nMust demonstrate a commitment to excellence, example, and the absence of crisis through preventative maintenance.\nMaintain regular attendance and punctuality.\nOther duties as assigned by the supervisor.\nMust be trained in safety procedures, including lockout/tagout, confined space procedures, hazard recognition, PPE requirements and use, and any other safety requirements.\n\nWhy You'll Love Working for Us:\nCompetitive pay\nMatching 401K\nMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance\nPaid Holidays\nPaid Vacation\nCompany paid Short Term Disability\nCompany Paid Term Life Insurance\nGrede is proud to support transitioning service members and current military veterans with career opportunities that are a match for their skills gained while serving our country.
