The role involves close collaboration with architects, technical teams, clients and other project consultants.\nKey Responsibilities\nUndertake structural analysis and design for reinforced concrete, steel and timber structures.\nPrepare structural calculations in accordance with Eurocodes and UK National Annexes.\nDevelop structural schemes and coordinate them with architectural proposals.\nProduce and review structural drawings, details and design information.\nUse structural engineering software such as Tekla Structure and Tedds.\nCoordinate structural requirements with architects and other consultants.\nRespond to technical queries and support the resolution of site-related issues.\nAssist with structural design reports and building control submissions.\nParticipate in project meetings with UK clients, consultants and authorities.\nCheck calculations and drawings for accuracy, coordination and compliance.\nSkills and Experience\nA recognised degree in civil or structural engineering.\nGraduates and candidates with up to five years’ relevant experience are welcome.\nKnowledge of reinforced concrete, steel and timber design.\nFamiliarity with Eurocodes and structural engineering principles.\nExperience using Tekla, Tedds or comparable analysis and design software.\nAutoCAD and/or Revit experience is advantageous.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nGood technical report-writing and communication abilities.\nExcellent spoken and written English.\nAbility to manage deadlines and coordinate within multidisciplinary teams.\nUK experience is advantageous but not essential.
