You will be expected to work from our hardware lab 1-2 times per week.Your profile\nTechnical skills:\nYou hav e experience developing embedded software for Linux-based systems, ideally across several target architectures (e.g. ARM and MIPS)\nYou're familiar with cross-compilation toolchains and different build systems (e.g. Yocto/BitBake and OpenWRT-based environments)\nYou know how to design software for resource-constrained systems (memory, flash, performance)\nYou know C/C++ and/or other languages used in embedded systems\nYou have experience with network protocols and services in an embedded context (e.g. VPN, MQTT, systemd/NetworkManager)\nBackground:\nYou have a degree in embedded software, electronics, computer engineering or a related field\nYou have 5+ years of experience in embedded systems, hardware-level development or testing\nYou speak and write English fluently; German is a plus\nHow you work:\nYou're hands-on and have practical experience with hardware\nYou test and validate software carefully before it's rolled out to a large device fleet\nYou enjoy finding and solving problems at the interfaces between components\nYou work analytically: you find errors systematically and document them clearly\nYou set up workflows on your own and keep improving systems\nYou communicate well and enjoy working with different teams and external partners\nYou'rewilling to come into our hardware lab at our Berlin office at Schlesisches Tor1-2 times a week\nNice to have:\nExperience with Teltonika RutOS or similar router/gateway platforms\nExperience with fleet management and deployment infrastructure (e.g. certificate management, OTA updates)\nWe believe diverse teams build better solutions.
