Conducts searches in order to locate misclassified inventory\nReport discrepancies of over/under amounts and any damaged products\nCommunicate and develop process enhancements as needed (performs root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies and recommends process improvements to eliminate them)\nAssist in receiving and shipping materials, finished goods.\nAssist in transfers to and from production area\nClose out work orders and perform negative issue procedure for packaging materials\nDrive the forklift to cover any departmental needs in operations\nPerform physical inventories\nFollow GMP’s and maintain a clean working environment\nRecord weights of hoppers for every blended work order\nEnter the information into Syspro\nEnsure that the correct tare weight is entered\nVerify that the total weight for every blended work order is within tis 2% tolerance\nUnpack receipts to verify product accuracy. Document receipt and deliver product to department.\nQualifications\nEducation: High School Diploma or G.E.D\n1-2 years of previous warehouse experience preferred.\nExperience with computerized inventory and receiving system preferred\nAccuracy in matching orders to items stock picked\nGood communication, organization, time management, and mathematical skills\nDependable and reliable\nInventory, equipment maintenance, data entry, and computer skills required\nPallet stacker, pallet jack, and/or forklift experience preferred (no certification necessary)\nAttention to detail\nEffective communication skills\nStrong work ethic\nWillingness to learn and improve each operation\nAbility to perform repetitive tasks for long periods of time (e.g. preparing products for packaging, packaging products, and regular inventory)\nAvailability to work occasional weekends and holidays\nEager to learn and enthusiastic\nBasic computer skills\nPrior cannabis experience not required.\nWorking Conditions\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform grasping, reaching, talking, hearing, bending, stooping, walking, seeing and repetitive motions\nMust be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time while maintaining focus\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to lift, carry, and balance up to 50 pounds unassisted (and up to 300 pounds with assistance) AND must be able to do so with extreme care and caution when working with plants and products.\nWork involves daily exposure to allergens (such as cannabis, tree nuts, and coconut oil).\nAdditional Requirements\nMust pass any and all required background checks\nMust be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry\nMust possess valid driver’s license\nMust be a minimum of 21 years of age\nMust be approved by state badging agency to work in cannabis industry\nThe pay range is competitive and based on experience, qualifications, and/or location of the role.
