As such, this position requires direct involvement in both plant operations and accounting/finance activities and initiatives as required. Duties include overall responsibility for accuracy and timeliness of financial and operational management information to be used in reporting financial results as well as managing the facility, and more specifically as follows; \nResponsibilities \nPerform monthly closing of financials for facility in accordance withGAAP and Company policy \nPrepare monthly analysis of financial results including variance / bridging analysis in coordination with the facility GM and operational staff \nCoordination and oversight of physical inventories, SOX,and audits with plant sites \nPrepare daily/weekly labor utilizationplan, including headcount and overtime reporting \nLead and prepare annual budget and monthly forecasts comparing projected results to prior year, budgetand previousforecasts \nCoordinate evaluation of capital projects and approval process \nMaintain fixed asset register: record new assets, transfers or retirements and calculate monthly depreciation figures \nPerform operational analysis, trend projectionsand forecasting \nLead site level financial meetings, participatein site level leadership meetings, provide financial visibility to business partners for decision making \nReview site performance and KPI data with management; understand trends and help analyze root causes. \nLead and/or participateon cross-functional teams to ensure the continuous, on-going improvement of processes, methods, productivityand quality, while reducing costs \nProvide reports and data to manufacturing department heads to assistthem in managing their department expenses (including, but not limited to spending reports, operating reports, and variance analyses) \nWork with operations financeteam to calculate, analyze, and maintaindata to determinestandard costs of business activity such as raw material purchases, inventory, and labor \nResponsible to monitorand maintain proper inventory reporting and control at the site - Inventory reconciliation, cycle counts, inventory discard processetc. \nResponsible forbalance sheet account reconciliations \nAssist ERP Project implementation team and lead site level ERP implementation \nResponsible to hire, train, lead, and develop site level finance resources \nProvide financial support on as needed basis to general manager and other facility employees \nConduct ad hoc analyses, specialprojects, and other duties as assigned\nQualifications \nBachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field \n8+years of total experience in accounting and5+ yearsof Operations finance orcost accounting experience in a manufacturing/production environment \nProven mastery of accounting principles, practices, standards, lawsand regulations \nHighly motivated, self-directed, innovativeand able to work independently or among teams with keen judgement, common senseand resourcefulness \nAdapts and thrives in a demanding, start-up, fast-paced environment \nSuperior communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, non-verbal, written), with the ability to build relationships at all levels, both internally and externally \nPossesses a high levelof critical thinking \nOperates with a high levelof professionalism and integrity, including dealing with confidential information \nHigh attention to detail and accuracy \nMust understand and comply withthe rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of Green Thumb \nAdditional Requirements \nMust pass any and allrequired background checks \nMust be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry \nMust be approved by state badging agency to work in cannabis industry \nOurMission: To promote well-being through the power of cannabis. \nWe’rehumble-We prefer quiet confidence and don’tshout about our success. \nWe’rehardworking-We put our heads down and get the job done. \nWe’regrateful-Workingin our industry is a privilege and an act of service. \nWe’retransparent-Honest and open communication keeps us healthy as an organization. \nWe’recollaborative-And believe good ideascan come from anywhere. \nWe have a growth mindset-One that’sgrounded in well-being. \nAt GTI we believe that our corporate community should be a reflection ofthe communities we serve.
