In this role, you will play a crucial part in designing, developing, and maintaining medical devices and technologies that enhance patient care and safety.\nThis position is contingent upon award.\nYour responsibilities will include conducting research to develop new biomedical technologies, performing testing and validation of devices, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This position may be remote with travel as needed by the client.\nWe require Master’s degree or higher in Biomedical Engineering or a related field, along with relevant experience in the medical device industry.\nU.S. Citizenship or Active Green Card is also a requirement for this position.\nRequirements\nKey Responsibilities:\nConduct research and development on medical devices and technologies.\nDesign, test, and validate biomedical equipment to meet high safety and effectiveness standards.\nEnsure compliance with FDA regulations and industry standards.\nCollaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to solve engineering challenges.\nProvide technical support and training for clinical staff on new technologies.\nParticipate in project management and assist in budget planning for engineering projects.\nMinimum Requirements:\nEducation & Certification\n Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering \n Certified Clinical Engineer (CCE) \nExperience\n 20+ years hospital / healthcare experience: \n Maintaining medical equipment \n Managing a hospital medical equipment program \n 20+ years working collaboratively with: \n Clinical staff \n Technical staff \n Executive / leadership stakeholders \n 10+ years conducting incident investigations involving medical equipment \n Including development of system-wide guidance \n Technical & Regulatory Expertise\n Computer-based medical systems \n Networking protocols \n Information security as applied to medical technology \n Medical equipment management programs compliant with: \n Healthcare standards \n Regulatory agencies \n Recall and safety alert management \n Medical device hazard investigations \n Patient safety goals \n SMDA, TJC requirements \n Strong understanding of: \n Federal and industry regulatory requirements \n ISO standards \nU.S. Citizenship required or Green Card is required.\nBenefits\nHealth Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)\nRetirement Plan (401k, IRA)\nTerms apply to Benefit Packages, depending on scope.\nDisclaimer:\nGreenberg & Larraby, Inc. will never send offer letters of employment unless a thorough interview process has taken place and all other internal processing has taken place.\nIf you receive one from an outside party and is not from the URL of our firm at @greenberg-larraby.com), please do not respond.
