Candidates must be U.S. Citizens.\nThis position offers a Monday to Friday work schedule with no weekend or on-call commitments, promoting a healthy work-life balance.\nRequirements\nKey Responsibilities:\n Perform routine quality assurance measurements and evaluations on radiation therapy equipment.\n Collaborate with radiation oncologists to develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.\n Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations related to radiation use.\n Conduct patient dosimetry evaluations and treatment plan verification.\n Participate in education and training of staff, residents, and students in medical physics topics.\n Engage in research activities to advance knowledge in radiation therapy technologies and methodologies.\n Minimum Requirements:\n Master's degree or Ph.D. in Medical Physics, Physics, or a closely related field.\n 2 years plus experience is ideal.\n Board certification in Medical Physics by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) or equivalent.\n Active and unrestricted license or credentialing to practice in the applicable state.\n Strong knowledge of radiation therapy physics and dosimetry.\n Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.\n Strong communication and interpersonal skills.\n U.S. Citizenship required.\n This is a long term contract and qualified individuals are encouraged to apply for immediate consideration.
