This role reports to the Director of Enterprise Content and Cloud Services.\nPosition Summary:\nThe Power Platform Engineer is responsible for engineering, administering, and delivering secure, scalable Power Platform solutions across the firm’s multiple Microsoft Power Platform ecosystems. This role helps drive platform architecture, environment strategy, governance, security, application lifecycle management, and the adoption of emerging capabilities including Microsoft Copilot Studio and AI-powered agents. The engineer designs and develops enterprise Power Platform solutions and partners with Cloud Services, Application teams, Information Security, and other functional groups to integrate Power Platform with Microsoft 365, Azure, and other enterprise platforms.\nKey Responsibilities\nEngineers, administers, and supports Microsoft Power Platform environments, including configuration, security, capacity, governance, and lifecycle management.\nEstablishes and maintains Power Platform technical standards, environment strategy, data policies (DLP), Managed Environments, and governance controls.\nDesigns and develops enterprise solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Dataverse, and related Power Platform services.\nAdministers and governs Microsoft Copilot Studio and AI-enabled Power Platform capabilities, including security, agent lifecycle, publishing controls, monitoring, and consumption.\nDevelops agents and prototypes as needed to validate capabilities, establish patterns, troubleshoot issues, and support development teams.\nImplements and maintains application lifecycle management practices using solutions, Power Platform Pipelines, source control, and CI/CD.\nDesigns and maintains Dataverse architecture, security, and access controls.\nIntegrates Power Platform with Microsoft 365, Azure, enterprise applications, APIs, and approved third-party platforms using secure integration patterns.\nMonitors platform health, usage, inventory, licensing, capacity, and adoption using Power Platform administration and monitoring capabilities.\nPartners with Information Security and other technology teams to meet firm security, privacy, data governance, and compliance requirements.\nServes as a technical advisor to business and technology teams, helping evaluate use cases, define technical approaches, and recommend appropriate solutions.\nLeads troubleshooting, performance analysis, and technical reviews of existing Power Platform solutions and recommends remediation or modernization as needed.\nProvides technical guidance and mentorship to developers, makers, and citizen developers.\nEvaluates new Power Platform and Copilot Studio capabilities and provides recommendations for firm adoption.\nAuthors and maintains platform documentation, standards, runbooks, and architectural guidance.\nPerforms other duties as assigned by management.\nQualifications\nSkills and Competencies\nExpertise in Microsoft Power Platform administration, governance, security, environments, DLP, Managed Environments, and lifecycle management\nExperience administering and governing Copilot Studio, including agent security, lifecycle management, monitoring, and the ability to develop and test agents or prototypes.\nHands-on experience with administering and supporting Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Dataverse, and Copilot Studio.\nStrong understanding of Dataverse architecture, security, and access controls.\nExperience with Power Platform ALM, solutions, Pipelines, source control, and CI/CD practices.\nProficiency with REST APIs, custom connectors, Microsoft Graph, authentication patterns, and integrations with Azure services.\nStrong understanding of Microsoft 365, Entra ID, identity, RBAC, and secure application design.\nWorking knowledge of Power Platform licensing, capacity, premium capabilities, and Copilot consumption.\nExperience with PowerShell, Power Platform CLI, scripting, APIs, and platform automation.\nExperience monitoring platform health, troubleshooting complex issues and supporting production Power Platform environments.\nAbility to lead technical discussions and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nEducation and Prior Experience\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent practical experience.\n5+ years of experience in application development, platform engineering, or cloud solutions roles.\n3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform in an enterprise environment, including administration, governance, and solution development.\nMicrosoft Power Platform certifications are preferred; Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, or GCP certifications are a plus.\nExperience supporting Power Platform in a large or regulated enterprise environment preferred.\nProfessional services or law firm experience is a plus.\nPhysical Requirements:\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to move from workstation or desk, throughout the work
