If you are someone who demonstrates initiative, adaptability, and innovation, we invite you to join our team.\nThis role will be in-office at least three to four days a week, and role reports to the Senior Practice Development Manager.\nPosition Summary:\nThe Practice Development Coordinator will work directly with the global litigation practice marketing team and certain litigation practice areas and industry group teams, contributing to a broad range of business development and marketing activities, while working as an integral part of the global marketing and business development team.\nKey Responsibilities:\nSupports the day-to-day operations of the global litigation practice and related practice areas and industry groups.\nWorks with regional and practice group managers and the business development team to support practice-related proposal requests and RFPs\nDrafts proposals, utilizing practice descriptions, experience databases, and client lists\nCreates and maintains records of the firm’s specific practice experience, utilizing the firm’s experience database\nGathers and organizes information needed for legal directories and ranking submissions (Chambers USA, Legal 500, Benchmark Litigation, etc.)\nOrganizes practice group conference calls, as well as initiates follow-up on specific action items arising from those discussions\nEnsures the flow of information from attorneys to marketing team, including as it relates to attorney biographies, practice area description updates, experience tracking news and activities data, press releases, etc.\nAssists in the deployment of programs and events hosted/sponsored by the firm, such as teleconferences, webinars, seminars and other events, including the development and production of marketing materials and on-site logistics\nEnters and maintains accurate information in relevant marketing databases, ensuring data integrity and proper storage\nSubmits and tracks requests to the marketing intelligence team for research, proposals, and other strategic projects\nCollaborates with marketing and other business professionals throughout the firm across functions and teams\n Qualifications:\nSkills & Competencies\nA self-starter and team player, able to accept direction, yet work independently.\nExcellent prioritization, problem solving, and time management skills.\nOutstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral; including solid composition, research, and editing skills.\nFlexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced work environment and works well under pressure.\nClient-first work ethic.\nStrong attention to detail and possess excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills.\nEducation & Prior Experience\nBachelor’s degree required.\nTwo to four years of relevant experience in marketing or business development.\nExperience at a law firm or other professional services firm is preferred.\nTechnology\nHigh level of proficiency using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).\nTech-Savvy problem solver who will have the ability to learn new programs or systems with ease\nUnderstanding of AI capabilities, limitations, and responsible use in a professional environment.\nFamiliarity with, or willingness to learn, firm-approved AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar platforms) to support daily workflow and/or improve work quality. \nPhysical Requirements:\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to move from workstation or desk throughout the work area to work independently or with a team to meet with colleagues or supervisor and retrieve work assignments.\nThis position may also be sedentary and require the employee to sit for extended periods of time.\nRequires manual dexterity to use a phone, enter data into a computer, handle objects, and use office equipment.\n\nWe will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records and will conduct a criminal background check if a conditional offer is extended in a manner consistent with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
