This role reports to the Director, Applied AI.\nPosition Summary\nWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full-Stack Developer to design, develop, and maintain secure, enterprise-grade applications that support the firm's AI initiatives, including Chat @ GT and related AI-powered solutions. This role requires extensive hands-on experience with C#, .NET, ASP.NET, SQL Server, and modern DevOps practices, along with expertise in Domain-Driven Design (DDD), cloud technologies, containerized environments, and cross-platform infrastructure. The ideal candidate will build scalable software solutions, contribute to architectural strategy, mentor developers, and collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver innovative, high-quality applications that enhance productivity and drive business value.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesigns, develops, tests, and deploys robust web applications using .NET 10, C#, and ASP.NET.\n\nArchitects and implements solutions following Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles, including bounded contexts, aggregates, and ubiquitous language.\n\nDevelops and optimizes database solutions using SQL Server, leveraging both Entity Framework and Dapper as appropriate for performance and maintainability.\n\nBuilds and maintains CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, ensuring reliable and automated deployments.\n\nWrites and maintains PowerShell scripts for automation, deployment, and system administration tasks.\n\nDeploys, configures, and troubleshoots applications across Linux, Windows Server, and Docker environments.\n\nOptionally contributes to front-end development using React and/or scripting/tooling with Python as needed.\n\nParticipates in code reviews, technical design sessions, and architectural planning.\n\nMentors junior and mid-level developers, promoting best practices in code quality, testing, and design patterns.\n\nCollaborates with product owners, business analysts, and QA engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions.\n\nDiagnoses, troubleshoots, and resolves production issues in a timely manner.\n\nMaintains thorough documentation of code, architecture, and processes.\n\nQualifications\nSkills & Competencies\nDeep expertise in C#, .NET 10, ASP.NET Web API, and modern full-stack application development.\n\nStrong proficiency with SQL Server, including query optimization, stored procedures, indexing strategies, and enterprise database design principles.\n\nHands-on experience with Entity Framework and Dapper, with the ability to select the appropriate data access approach based on performance, maintainability, and business needs.\n\nFamiliarity with Azure or comparable cloud platforms preferred.\n\nAbility to successfully adapt to changing priorities and work demands.\n\nAbility to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines and effectively prioritize multiple tasks.\n\nExperience working in a fast-paced law firm environment with diverse needs.\n\nExcellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.\n\nDemonstrated ownership, accountability, judgment, and follow-through in supporting projects from design through production maintenance.\n\nUnderstanding of security best practices in web application development, DevOps, data protection, and secure enterprise systems preferred.\n\nExperience working in a legal, professional services, or enterprise environment preferred.\n\nEducation & Prior Experience\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience considered.\n\nMinimum of five (5) years of professional software development experience.\n\nDemonstrated experience designing, building, deploying, and maintaining enterprise-grade applications built on the .NET stack.\n\nProven experience applying Domain-Driven Design principles, clean architecture, and modern software engineering practices in real-world projects preferred.\n\nHands-on experience with modern DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization, infrastructure automation, and release management.\n\nExperience supporting technical projects from development through deployment, production support, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance.\n\nExperience working in Agile/Scrum development environments and collaborating across product, business, QA, and technical teams preferred.\n\nRelevant Microsoft, Azure, or software development certifications are a plus.\n\nTechnology\nProficiency with C#, .NET 10, ASP.NET Web API, SQL Server, Entity Framework, and Dapper.\n\nExperience with Azure DevOps or comparable CI/CD pipeline tools for source control, automated builds, release management, and deployment workflows.\n\nExperience deploying and supporting applications in Linux, Windows Server, and Docker-based environments.\n\nStrong PowerShell scripting experience for automation, deployment, and system administration.\n\nFamiliarity with frontend development frameworks and modern interface technologies, including React, Blazor Server, server-side rendering patterns, mobile platforms, and/or progressive web applications preferred.\n\nExposure to Python for scripting, automation, data processing, or AI-related application support preferred.\n\nFamiliarity with WebSockets, SignalR, real-time streaming, REST APIs, service integrations, and modern software development practices preferred.\n\nFamiliarity with microservices architecture and message brokers such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Azure Service Bus preferred.\n\nFamiliarity with Azure or comparable cloud platforms preferred.\n\nExperience with Git-based version control, branching strategies, code review workflows, and maintainable release practices preferred.\n\nWe will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records and will conduct a criminal background check if a conditional offer is extended in a manner consistent with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
