As Lead Buyer, you will also act as the key point of contact for all procurement-related matters within selected projects.\nYour mission\nStrategic procurement of cables and cable components for national and international projects\nDevelopment and implementation of commodity and sourcing strategies for the cable product group\nSelection, evaluation and ongoing development of national and international manufacturers and supplier partners\nNegotiation and management of framework agreements and terms and conditions, with a focus on quality, costs, delivery performance, technical compliance and security of supply\nConducting market, cost and benchmark analyses for cables and cable systems, focusing on price trends, availability, lead times, risks and technical requirements\nClose collaboration with Engineering, Project Management, Construction, Quality Management and Logistics to ensure project-specific requirements are met.\nIdentifying and implementing opportunities for cost optimisation, standardisation and improvement within the product group\nAnalysing and preparing procurement metrics, supplier evaluations and decision-making criteria for project- and product-group-specific procurement decisions\nYour profile\nA degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business Administration or a comparable subject\nSeveral years’ experience in strategic procurement within the cable product group, ideally in the context of PV, energy infrastructure or EPC projects\nA sound technical understanding of cables, technical specifications, standards, certifications and relevant manufacturing processes\nStrong negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills\nA strategic, analytical and structured approach to work, as well as a good understanding of factors relevant to costs and market prices\nExperience in project management and in cross-functional collaboration with technical and commercial stakeholders\nA responsible, proactive and solution-oriented approach to work, with the ability to apply professional expertise effectively in day-to-day activities\nA commitment to respectful, trusting collaboration and mutual support within the team\nProficiency in using ERP systems and MS Office\nVery good command of English;
