We are more than products, we are a team of inspired people doing extraordinary things.\nAs an Automation Engineer I you will design, program, assemble, and install electrical controls used in machines and tooling systems. Support the Automation and Controls team with their projects, as well as providing post machine installation troubleshooting and support. Responsible for basic - intermediate programming of one or more of the following: HMI, PLC, Robot, Vision.\nWHAT YOU'LL BE DOING\nProject manage small to medium sized machine installations including:\n\nBuild and wire electrical panels\n\nCreate electrical schematics and electrical cabinet layout using AutoCAD electrical\n\nOrder parts for projects using Ariba Purchasing system\n\nWire external machine components to electrical cabinet\n\nUse manufacturer's software to develop BOMs\n\nWork with IT Application developers with program integrations\n\nTravel to Greenheck facilities to install machines and train maintenance and manufacturing personnel\n\nSupport automation and controls technicians with their projects\n\nProvide parts lists with standard components used\n\nResearch safety devices appropriate for their application\n\nProvide programming assistance\n\nDevelop electrical parts list for the project\n\nWrite PLC/HMI/Robot Programs using various software packages\n\nTypical programs would be low complexity machine control to medium complexity machine control\n\nDesign low to medium complexity machine guarding strategies that comply with OSHA and ANSI standards, to ensure the safety of our Greenheck teammates\n\nPower up, troubleshoot, and commission machine to make production ready\n\nIntegrate hydraulic and pneumatic systems into the machine electrical control system\n\nPost machine installation troubleshooting and support\n\nWHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE\n0-2 years of relevant work experience required.\n\n4 Year / Bachelor Degree in Electromechanical Technology, Automation Engineering Technology, or Electrical Engineering required.\n\nAutoCAD Electrical Drafting software\n\nBasic Motion Programming\n\nOSHA 1910 or NFPA 70E Safety Training\n\nIndustrial Control Safety Standards\n\nNational Electrical Code basic knowledge\n\nSOME THINGS WE THINK YOU SHOULD KNOW\nMinimum travel is required.\n\nCOMPENSATION & BENEFITS\nGreenheck Group takes pride in providing competitive pay along with a comprehensive benefits package as part of our total rewards program.The starting base pay range for this position is $77,235 - $95,408 and may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.\nWith best-in-class benefits, you can be the best you, and together, we can be the best in the industry.
