We are more than products, we are a team of inspired people doing extraordinary things.\nThe Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for assisting in routine maintenance, basic repairs, and general mechanical tasks. This role helps develop foundational mechanical skills while ensuring adherence to Greenheck's safety standards and operational procedures. The position involves performing a variety of maintenance activities, including preventative tasks, troubleshooting, and supporting non-routine maintenance efforts under the guidance of more experienced mechanics.\n3rd Shift: 11pm - 7am\nWhat you'll be doing:\nPerform basic preventative maintenance on equipment, including inspections, lubrication, and cleaning, under supervision. \nAssist with troubleshooting and repair efforts led by more experienced mechanics. \nAid and support non-routine maintenance efforts, following direction from peers. \nMaintain work areas to meet or exceed company housekeeping standards. \nOperate material handling equipment, including cranes and aerial lifts, safely and as needed. \nRecord completed tasks in the Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS). \nParticipate in required training to safely perform duties and improve technical skills, including CMMS Competency, Authorized User Training, and Aerial Lift Training. \nPerform routine repairs on equipment, including basic mechanical work and component identification. \nAssist with basic hydraulics, pneumatics, and lubrication tasks, including understanding different types and uses of lubricants. \nSupport machine cleaning and upkeep, following company procedures and safety protocols. \nAid in the collection of samples as required for inspections or maintenance. \nParticipate in visual and sensory inspections of equipment to identify potential issues. \nHelp with routine preventative maintenance, including basic fabrication tasks and machine cleaning. \nDemonstrate a basic understanding of blueprints, owner manuals, and technical documentation. \nBe able to work independently on assigned tasks after receiving initial training. \nAssist with spare part lookup and asset/machine identification as needed. \nMaintain certification in first aid/CPR and crane operation as required. \nWhat you should have as a Maintenance Mechanic I:\nHigh school diploma or GED required. \nBasic mechanical knowledge; experience in a manufacturing setting is a plus. \nAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. \nContinuous lifting, climbing, kneeling, pulling, bending, etc. \nBasic math, computer skills, and the ability to use hand tools. \nStrong attention to detail and the ability to work independently. \nBasic understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems. \nAbility to read and interpret basic blueprints and manuals. \nCertified in crane operation and basic machine safety protocols. \nMust maintain certifications in first aid/CPR, and other required safety training. \nWhat you should have as a Maintenance Mechanic II:\nHigh school diploma or GED required; technical certifications or associate degree preferred. \n3-5 years of previous manufacturing maintenance experience required. \nAdvanced mechanical knowledge, including power transmission, CNC systems, and electrical control systems. \nKnowledge of and ability to troubleshoot electrical motors, motor control systems, and machine controls. \nUnderstanding of basic PLC/ladder logic and machine controls replacement. \nExperience with advanced hydraulics, pneumatics, and power transmission systems. \nFamiliarity with network/communications diagnostics and troubleshooting. \nAbility to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and owner manuals. \nExperience with machine commissioning and installation. \nStrong leadership skills and the ability to direct and mentor other maintenance staff. \nAbility to work independently and provide proactive maintenance solutions. \nFamiliarity with safety standards, including NFPA 70E and NEC guidelines. \nAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. \nContinuous lifting, climbing, kneeling, pulling, bending, etc. \nStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. \nWhat you should have as a Maintenance Mechanic III:\nHigh school diploma or GED required; successful completion of Greenheck’s 10,000-hour Apprenticeship Program required. \n3-5 years of previous experience in manufacturing maintenance or a related field required. \nAdvanced mechanical knowledge, including power transmission, CNC systems, electrical control systems, and machine diagnostics. \nExpertise in troubleshooting and repairing electrical motors, motor control systems, and machine controls. \nStrong experience with PLC programming, ladder logic, and machine control systems. \nAdvanced understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and pneumatic systems. \nFamiliarity with electrical installation and repair to NEC standards. \nAbility to read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation. \nProven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and direct maintenance teams. \nStrong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and troubleshooting skills. \nAbility to work independently and take the lead on major maintenance projects. \nCertified in first aid/CPR and other required safety certifications (e.g., crane operation). \nAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. \nContinuous lifting, climbing, kneeling, pulling, bending, etc. \nExcellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with other departments. \nCOMPENSATION & BENEFITS\nGreenheck Group takes pride in providing competitive pay along with a comprehensive benefits package as part of our total rewards program. Minimum starting rate of $28.76/hour, with regular increases reaching $31.75/hour. An additional shift premium of $2.00/hour applies for 3rd shift.
