National brands, including Walgreens, TD Bank, and Driven Brands, trust us to accelerate approvals, reduce risk, and unlock growth.\nThe Role\nGreenLite is seeking a Project Manager, Permit Operations to join our GLX Operations and Regulatory Team, and work closely with the Operations Manager. This person will also work hip-to-hip with the Head of Code Enforcement and the rest of the Permit Operations TeamYour day consists of doing the day to day work, servicing customers, managing your portfolio of projects, and working with Permit Coordinators. This is a client-facing role that requires good verbal and written communication skills, a deep understanding of construction / development cycles (for commercial and residential) as well as confirming that there are good outcomes between client / design teams and the building department.\nWhat you’ll be doing\nOn any given day, you can expect to do the following key activities:\nRegulatory Research and diligence for commercial/residential development projects, Public Works/Utility Projects, EV Charging, Minor Land Use/Entitlements, as well as internal Operational/Development initiatives that involve licensing & regulatory requirements.\n\nCommunicating with local governments to confirm research findings and gather additional information on processes that can be communicated to customers. (e.g. - Calling the Jurisdiction to ensure the permitting process pertaining to a client’s project doesn’t involve any extra forms/fees that may not be listed online)\n\nGathering supporting documents (internally, and obtaining them from clients externally via software/email), completing applications and submitting them to local and state government agencies - typically building/construction permits.\n\nFrequently following up on submitted applications, and managing/communicating the timeline or estimated completion date, with the goal of getting all applications approved ASAP.\n\nForecasting and projecting project timelines and dates of permit issuance\n\nWorking in close conjunction with Permit Coordinators to further support project milestones\n\nUtilizing Agentic workflow tools to further enable the functions listed above\n\nHow you’ll be evaluated\nWe will define specific goals together for your first 30, 60, and 90 days:\nApplications for client projects, as well as internal registrations & licenses are completed and submitted quickly, and correctly with minimum supervision.\n\nResearch & diligence projects are completed thoroughly and efficiently, with direct, reliable sources/data and findings.\n\nGood relationships established with a network of government agencies and local expertise across different jurisdictions that can be called upon for help navigating processes for future projects.\n\nPositive, responsive relationship with clients, that fosters trust, and credibility for the company.\n\nWhat we’re looking for\nWe will define specific goals together for your first 30, 60, and 90 days:\n2-4 years of experience in construction permitting, entitlements, legal filings, zoning, land use, business licensing, government affairs, or a combination of these.\n\nDegree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, Real Estate Development, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or other research-focused program preferred, but not required.
