Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness, displays commitment to excellence, looks for ways to improve and promote quality, applies feedback to improve performance, and monitors own work to ensure quality.\nSummary of Education, Experience & Certification\n2-3 years of avionics experience preferred\nFamiliar with the Standard Wiring Practices Manual.\nAirframe (A) or Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License preferred, not required.\nEmployees working on programs subject to International Traffic in Arms Regulations must qualify as a US Person which is defined as a US Citizen, a Permanent Resident who does not work for a foreign company/foreign government/foreign governmental agency or organization, or a political asylee for legal compliance purposes.\nThis safety-sensitive position is covered by the Department of Transportation's (DOT) Drug and Alcohol Testing Program. Any applicant selected for this position will be subject to pre-employment drug testing. Persons occupying a \"safety-sensitive” position will be subject to random drug and/or alcohol testing. Post-accident, reasonable cause, and return-to-duty tests may also be requiredbased on specific circumstances. \nRequired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities\nWorks under direct supervision as needed, subject to expeience.\nAbility to communicate in English (read, write, and verbally communicate).\nMathematical knowledge and ability to apply towards problem solving.\nBasic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. (Outlook, Word)\nAbility to work overtime, as required.\nAbility to travel.\nPhysical Requirements\nAble to comply with DOT/FAA Drug and Alcohol Testing Program.\nAble to climb and work on step stools and/or ladders.\nAble to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds without assistance and ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds with assistance.\nAble to reach overhead.\nAble to work in a non-dust-free environment.\nNormal or corrected vision (required to perform exacting tasks).\nFull range of motion with both hands.\nAbility to work in a stooping, kneeling or standing position and in cramped areas.\nThe expected WA salary range for this position is between $61,000.00 - $85,000.00 USD. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, education, location, and other factors permitted by law.
