Minimum of five (5) years of experience inspecting aviation parts or components. Experience with inspection planning, tools, and inspection processes required. ASQ Mechanical Inspector Certification preferred.\nEmployees working on programs subject to International Traffic in Arms Regulations must qualify as a US Person which is defined as a US Citizen, a Permanent Resident who does not work for a foreign company/foreign government/foreign governmental agency or organization, or a political asylee for legal compliance purposes.\n\nRequired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities\nFamiliar with Aerospace quality terms and concepts.\nAbility to read and interpret blueprints, engineer drawings and additional customer supplied data.\nKnowledgeable in mathematical operations and performing measurement conversions.\nAbility to identify the difference between accuracy and precision.\nCapable of determining sample size for lots.\nAbility to use measuring devices required to complete inspection activities.\nFamiliar with GD&T, and recognition of basic NDT terminology.\nGeneral knowledge of ANSI Y14.5M-1994 and AS9100.\nProficient in Microsoft Office applications.\nAbility to communicate in English (read, write, and verbally communicate).\nStrong communication, time-management, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to travel as required.\nAbility to work overtime as required.\n\nPhysical Requirements\nAble to climb and work on step stools and/or ladders.\nAble to lift 25 lbs. without assistance/able to lift up to 100 lbs. with assistance.\nAble to reach overhead.\nAble to work in a non-dust-free environment.\nNormal or corrected vision (required to perform exacting tasks).\nFull range of motion with both hands.\nCan work in a stooping, kneeling or standing position and in cramped areas.\nThe expected WA hourly pay range for this position is between $26.92 - $37.02 USD. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, education, location, and other factors permitted by law.
