The role also provides exposure to group reporting and multi-entity operations, offering a strong development path within a growing, high-performance team.\nKey Responsibilities\nAccounts Payable\nReview and post supplier invoices into NetSuite, ensuring each invoice has the appropriate approval, is coded to the correct account and cost centre, has the correct VAT treatment and is not a duplicate. Resolve invoice queries with suppliers and budget holders promptly.\nMonth-End Close & Financial Reporting\nOwn key elements of the month-end close process, including posting journals (accruals, prepayments, deferred income) and preparing supporting reconciliations. Ensure outputs are accurate, complete, and delivered on time. Assist with the preparation of the monthly management accounts and support the Senior Accounting Manager in group reporting and consolidation activities.\nBalance Sheet Integrity & Financial Control\nPrepare monthly bank reconciliations and take ownership of other balance sheet reconciliations, including accounts receivable and accounts payable. Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies proactively, maintaining a high standard of financial control.\nPayments & Compliance\nManage the end-to-end payment process, ensuring all disbursements follow internal approval processes and meet audit and compliance standards. Maintain a disciplined and well-controlled payments environment.\nSystems & Data Management (NetSuite)\nMaintain the integrity of financial data within NetSuite, including the Chart of Accounts and fixed asset register. Ensure consistency in how financial data is recorded and support ongoing system and process improvements.\nPayroll, Intercompany & Audit Support\nProcess payroll journals and intercompany transactions to ensure accurate reporting across entities.
