This is a newly created role designed to add strategic and transactional FP&A capacity to the organization following significant growth and a series of acquisitions. The Director will own M&A financial due diligence, debt modeling, long-range planning, commercial variable compensation, and ad hoc strategic projects, and will serve as a credible, polished representative of Green Street's Finance function to the Board of Directors, potential investors, and prospective acquirers.\nThis individual will report to the VP, Controller and will be a direct partner to the CFO on the highest-visibility financial work the company produces. The role is intended for someone hungry to grow - an ambitious finance professional with the intellect and executive presence to eventually step into a broader leadership seat.\nJob Responsibilities\nM&A Financial Due Diligence & Integration\nLead financial due diligence workstreams for potential acquisitions, including quality of earnings, ARR/revenue quality analysis, cost structure benchmarking, and working capital assessment\nPrepare Finance Due Diligence reports in coordination with Legal and Tax for CFO and Board review\nBuild and maintain acquisition economics models: accretion / dilution analysis, pro forma P&L, synergy quantification, and integration cost estimates\nCoordinate cross-functionally with Legal, Tax, Accounting, and Operations during diligence and integration periods\nSupport post-merger integration: recommend consolidation structures, assist with legal entity rationalization, and model synergy realization timelines\nCommissions & Variable Compensation\nCalculate and manage all monthly commercial variable compensation plans:\nExecute monthly commission review process; coordinate with sales reps and leaders for approvals\nDownload and submit final commission report to payroll team for processing\nLead annual commercial compensation plan modeling in coordination with CFO, Controller, and Commercial leadership\nCoordinate execution of new plans\nDebt Modeling & Lender Relations\nOwn and maintain all debt and financing models including covenant compliance schedules, interest expense forecasts, SOFR / benchmark rate updates, and debt capacity analysis\nPrepare financial packages for lender conversations, credit agreement amendments, refinancings, and new debt arrangements\nSupport the Controller on quarterly EBITDA compliance certificate calculations as needed\nMonitor credit agreement requirements and flag risks proactively to the CFO\nLong-Range Planning\nOwn the long-range financial plan (LRP): maintain the model, update assumptions in partnership with the CFO, and prepare LRP materials for Board presentations and sponsor (TA Associates) review\nDevelop multi-year financial scenarios (base, upside, downside) for strategic planning and investor or acquirer discussions\nBoard, Investor & Acquirer Presentations\nBuild and own board-ready financial presentations with a high degree of narrative clarity and analytical rigor\nPrepare materials for potential investor or acquirer data rooms, management presentations, and reverse due diligence processes\nRepresent Green Street's Finance function in external-facing meetings alongside the CFO, including lender, investor, and sponsor interactions\nAd Hoc Strategic Projects\nLead high-priority analytical projects as directed by the CFO - e.g., pricing strategy analysis, segment profitability, competitive benchmarking, restructuring analysis, new market sizing\nPartner cross-functionally with Commercial, Legal, and Product on financial modeling for strategic initiatives\nServe as a thought partner to the Revenue Operations team and the broader Commercial organization when evaluating changes to pricing, packaging, and customer promotions / incentives; seller compensation; and non-standard customer terms and their associated revenue treatment\nSupport the development of executive-level materials for the CEO and Board on special topics\nCandidate Profile\nEducation & Experience\nBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required; MBA preferred\n5-8 years of progressive finance experience; prior Big 4 (Advisory / Transaction Services) or investment banking experience highly preferred\nDemonstrated experience with M&A financial due diligence, LBO/leveraged finance modeling, or corporate development strongly preferred\nPrior FP&A experience in a high-growth SaaS or technology company a plus\nTechnical Skills\nExpert-level financial modeling in Excel - LBO models, DCF, and scenario analysis, and three-statement models\nProficiency with FP&A planning tools (Workday Adaptive Planning preferred)\nComfort working with large datasets; familiarity with SQL or BI tools (Snowflake, PowerBI) a plus\nExperience with NetSuite and SalesForece preferred\nExceptional PowerPoint skills - able to produce Board-quality presentations independently\nKnowledge & Competencies\nAnalytical: Synthesizes complex financial and operational data into clear, actionable insights;
