We have partnerships across Europe, based on local expertise and a deep understanding of each market.\nGreenvolt Next Ireland is seeking an experienced Civils Project Manager to lead the delivery of civil engineering works on utility-scale Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects across Ireland.\nThe successful candidate will manage civils activities from pre-construction through to project completion, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the required quality standards.\nRequirements\nProject Delivery\nManage civils works across multiple renewable energy projects.\nCoordinate subcontractors, site teams, consultants, and suppliers.\nMonitor programme progress and drive timely project delivery.\nEnsure works are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements.\nSupport project handover and close-out activities.\nCommercial & Contractual Management\nMonitor project costs, budgets, and forecasts.\nReview subcontractor applications, variations, and change management.\nIdentify and manage project risks and opportunities.\nSupport contractual correspondence and commercial reporting.\nHealth, Safety, Quality & Environment\nPromote a strong safety culture across all projects.\nEnsure compliance with company procedures, legislation, and industry standards.\nReview RAMS and construction methodologies.\nSupport audits, inspections, and quality assurance processes.\nStakeholder Management\nAct as a key point of contact for clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.\nAttend and lead progress meetings as required.\nBuild and maintain positive working relationships with all project stakeholders.\nExperience, Qualifications and Key Competencies\nDegree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.\nChartered status or working towards professional accreditation.\nTemporary Works Coordinator training.\nMinimum five years’ experience managing civil engineering or infrastructure projects.\nStrong understanding of construction programmes, subcontractor management and project controls.\nExperience delivering renewable-energy, utility or power-infrastructure projects.\nKnowledge of NEC4, FIDIC or EPC contracts.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.\nFull clean driving licence.\nLeadership and team management.\nPlanning and organisation.\nCommercial awareness.\nProblem-solving and decision-making.\nRisk management.\nCommunication and stakeholder engagement.\nQuality and safety leadership.\nAdditional Requirements\n Full clean driving licence. \n Flexibility and willingness to travel to project sites as required.\nBenefits\nHealth Insurance\nBirthday Leave\nCompany Pension\nDeath in Service\nIncome Protection\nProfessional Membership fees\nTraining and CPD\nThis job description is intended as a general guideline and is not exhaustive; it is a flexible document and may be subject to change to meet the evolving needs of the company.\nWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer and give consideration for employment to qualified applicants without regard to gender, religion, race, national or ethnic origin, cultural background, social group, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, age or political opinion.
