The company operates internationally and is committed to accelerating the energy transition through distributed generation solutions, with a strong focus on Commercial & Industrial (C&I) solar projects.\nKey Responsibilities:\nTechnical Leadership\nAct as the senior technical reference for Commercial Engineering activities in France, focusing on C&I rooftop and carport PV projects.\nDefine, document, and standardize design criteria for:\nRooftop and carport design and constructability interfaces\nLV/MV electrical systems and equipment selection\nGrid connection architecture and local market requirements\nProtection systems, technical assumptions, and minimum design standards\nReview and validate layouts, energy simulations, electrical concepts, and project budgets.\nChallenge and approve key technical, yield, and CAPEX assumptions before proposal submission.\nProject Validation & Risk Management\nReview project-specific BoQs, CAPEX estimates, technical assumptions, and design choices.\nAssess technical, commercial, and constructability risks during tendering and pre-sales phases.\nEnsure solutions are technically robust and ready for handover to execution teams.\nEnsure compliance with internal validation and approval procedures.\nTeam Coordination & Technical Support\nProvide technical guidance to engineering teams supporting French opportunities.\nMentor junior engineers and share technical best practices.\nAct as the escalation point for complex technical matters during the commercial phase.\nCollaborate closely with Sales, Procurement, Operations, and Project Execution teams.\nProcess Improvement & Standardization\nDevelop and maintain:\nStandard BoQ and CAPEX templates\nCost libraries and benchmarking tools\nDesign guidelines and quality checklists\nDrive continuous improvement of commercial engineering processes and methodologies.\nProposal Development\nPrepare or supervise:\nRooftop, carport, and ground-mounted PV layouts\nPVsyst energy simulations\nDetailed BoQs and CAPEX calculations\nTechnical documentation for tenders and client proposals\nParticipate in technical discussions with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.\nRequirements\nEducation & Experince\nMaster's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Energy, Civil Engineering, or a related field.\nMinimum 5 years of solar PV engineering experience.\nStrong experience within the French C&I PV market.\nProven track record in rooftop and carport PV design, technical optimization, and budgeting.\nExperience in pre-sales and tender-stage engineering activities.\nExperience reviewing and validating technical and financial project assumptions.\nTechnical Expertise\nStrong knowledge of French C&I PV systems, particularly rooftop and carport applications.\nSolid understanding of LV/MV electrical systems, grid connection requirements, and protection schemes.\nExperience with structural interfaces, civil works, and installation constraints.\nKnowledge of French technical standards, permitting processes, and DSO requirements.\nExperience with battery storage projects is considered an advantage.\nTools\nAdvanced PVsyst.\nAutoCAD or equivalent CAD software.\nAdvanced Excel for CAPEX and budgeting analysis.\nCRM tools (Dynamics 365 is a plus).\nLanguages\nFluent French and English\nWe want an energy transition
