We have partnerships across Europe, based on local expertise and a deep understanding of each market.\nThe Solar O&M Engineer is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing the performance of solar PV power plants. This role ensures maximum uptime and efficiency of the solar plant through proactive and corrective maintenance, performance analysis, and coordination with field teams.\nRequirements\nKey Accountabilities\nMonitoring & Performance Management:\nMonitor daily plant performance using SCADA or remote monitoring systems.\nAnalyze production data and KPIs like Performance Ratio (PR). \nDetect performance anomalies and take corrective actions.\nTo support the technical daily O&M and data collection across the operational Portfolio\nDaily check technical events, investigation and provide the correct justification and classification, in conjunction with the performance Analyst. \nMaintenance Planning & Execution:\nPlan and execute preventive maintenance schedules for PV modules, inverters, and monitoring systems.\nConduct corrective maintenance and fault analysis to restore optimal operation.\nMaintain records of inspections, maintenance logs, and service reports.\nRecord keeping and management of spare part movements. \nTroubleshooting & Repairs:\nIdentify root causes of system failures (e.g., inverter trips, string faults)\nReplace or repair faulty equipment (modules, DC string cable and Inverter).\nReporting & Documentation:\nPrepare monthly O&M reports on plant availability and performance.\nmaintain the maintenance checklists and spare parts logs.\nEnsure compliance with quality and safety documentation standards.\nHealth and Safety:\nAdhere co-works safety protocol during all site activities\nQualifications:\nDegree in the engineering field \n2+ years of solar technical experience. \nWorking knowledge of power system protection \nAble to read and interpret single line diagrams and schematics \nDemonstrated experience in the maintenance of LV and 22kV cable, DC cable systems\nStrong written and communication skills. \nGood IT skills. \nKnowledge of codes and standards. \nKnowledge of how to use hand tools and power tools.\nAbility to lift and move objects up to 35 kgs \nWilling to travel regularly including at nights \nMust be eligible to work full time in Ireland. \nMust have a valid permit to drive in Ireland independently\nBenefits\nWhat we offer\nCompetitive salary aligned with experience;\nFree birthday day\nBike to Work Scheme\nDiscounts from local businesses.\nBeing part of an international environment\nAdditional Benefits\nCompany Pension\nDeath in Service\nIncome Protection\nFlexible Friday\nProfessional Membership fees\nTraining and CPD\nThis job description is intended as a general guideline and is not exhaustive; it is a flexible document and may be subject to change to meet the evolving needs of the company.\nWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer and give consideration for employment to qualified applicants without regard to gender, religion, race, national or ethnic origin, cultural background, social group, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, age or political opinion.
