Waiting period applies.)\nMaternity and Parental Leave\nRetirement Savings Program (401K)\nAbility to lift, push, pull, and sort boxes and packages weighing up to 50 pounds each frequently\nAbility to walk, lift, bend, reach above the head, kneel, crouch, twist, and/or stretch during shifts up to 10 hours long\nAbility to climb up and down stairs frequently throughout the workday\nAbility to perform a safety inspection of the delivery vehicle at the beginning and the end of each shift\nEnsure delivery vehicle is clean, fueled, and in good operating condition at all times\nAbility to safely operate assigned delivery vans with a weight rating of up to 16,000 pounds at all times\nExcellent organizational and time management skills\nTimely report for scheduled shifts and maintain reliable attendance\nDeliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes\nAbility to speak, read, and write in English to communicate with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language\nAbility to successfully handle and timely deliver customer packages\nFollow routes and complete the route in the shift time scheduled or the assigned route time, whichever is sooner\nAbility to maintain focus and pay attention to detail in a fast-paced environment\nAbility to communicate effectively and professionally with members of the public, coworkers, dispatchers and managers.\nAbility to provide excellent customer service and satisfaction, despite potentially stressful events/conditions\nWillingness to be a team player, and help others, work together and provide rescue assistance to other drivers if needed once the driver has completed his/her route for the shift\nPerform other duties as assigned\nAbility to interact positively and professionally with customers and the general public while delivering products to customers’ homes, retail, and business locations\nDelivery Driver Basic Requirements\nMust be authorized to work in the United States\nMust be at least 21 years of age\nMust have a valid (unexpired), non-provisional, unrestricted driver's license\nMust successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening\nDelivery Driver Duties and Responsibilities\nSafely drive and operate your delivery vehicle at all times\nFollow DOT regulations and safety standards where / when applicable.\nGood driving record and follow all local & state laws, road/driving regulations and Company policies\nUse a handheld device for routing information and customer delivery information\nSuccessfully handle and deliver packages on time.\nMust be able to use technology (mobile device for GPS and Customer Delivery Instruction)\nMust be comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions\nMust be able to drive at night/in the dark\nMust be comfortable driving and working at night/in the dark\nLoad, unload, prepare, and sort packages to be delivered\nLift packages up to 50 lbs\n Location: 5266 Baxter Rd, Cherry Valley, IL 61016, USA\nJob schedule: Friday to Monday\nPay: From $23.50 per hour\nExpected hours: 20 -
