Engineering Manager - Python

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager (Python) to lead high-performing engineering teams and drive the design and development of scalable, high-impact systems. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, leadership, and product mindset.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and scale a team of software engineers.
• Drive architecture, design, and development of scalable backend systems using Python.
• Collaborate with product, design, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Ensure best practices in coding, system design, and performance optimization.
• Own project delivery, timelines, and technical decision-making.
• Conduct code reviews, design discussions, and technical mentoring.
• Improve engineering processes, CI/CD pipelines, and overall productivity.

Requirements:

• 10-14 years of overall experience with a strong backend development background.
• Proven experience in Python (Django / Flask / FastAPI).
• Hands-on experience in system design and scalable architecture.
• Strong leadership experience (team handling, mentoring, hiring).
• Experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture.
• Solid understanding of databases (SQL/NoSQL).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure).
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Good to Have:

• Experience in high-scale product-based companies.
• Knowledge of distributed systems and event-driven architecture.
• Exposure to DevOps practices, Docker, and Kubernetes.
