You will take end-to-end ownership of software components, contribute to High-Level and Low-Level system designs, build and optimise algorithms, and interface with distributed streaming platforms, databases, APIs, and modern deployment environments. The role requires strong software engineering fundamentals, problem-solving skills, and the ability to independently own technical deliverables while collaborating with engineering and cross-functional teams.\n\nResponsibilities : \n\n- Own and work end-to-end on applications, covering the server, deployment, configuration management, backend application, containers, and database.\n\n- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable backend applications and services.\n\n- Write efficient, readable, maintainable, and testable code.\n\n- Design High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs) based on user and business requirements.\n\n- Develop web applications, web services, desktop applications, and Windows services as required.\n\n- Develop, implement, profile, and optimise algorithms for backend software.\n\n- Work with microservice-based applications and REST-based APIs.\n\n- Work with distributed message streaming architectures (such as Apache Kafka).\n\n- Work with relational databases and develop efficient SQL queries.\n\n- Contribute to build and configuration management processes.\n\n- Follow software development best practices, including version control, testing, and code quality.\n\n- Collaborate effectively with engineers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality technical solutions.\n\nRequirements : \n\n- B. E. / B. Tech. / M. E. / M. Tech. in Computer Science from a Tier 1 / Tier 2 premier institute.\n\n- 2 - 5 years of relevant software development experience with demonstrated problem-solving skills (Product - based companies or fast-scaling tech startups strongly preferred).\n\n- Strong backend development experience across C++, Java, or Python.\n\n- Hands-on experience working with distributed streaming/messaging platforms (Apache Kafka).\n\n- Development experience using a microservice platform/architecture.\n\n- Experience working with REST-based API integration.\n\n- Good RDBMS and SQL skills.\n\n- Good understanding of : Object-oriented design, Design patterns, and Software development frameworks.\n\n- Experience in algorithmic development.\n\n- Good understanding of version control systems (Git).\n\n- Strong end-to-end ownership mindset and ability to independently drive deliverables.\n\n- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.\n\n- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with colleagues at all levels.\n\nGood to Have : \n\n- Familiarity or exposure to Erlang or Elixir (or strong willingness to learn).\n\n- Exposure to databases and associated technologies such as PostgreSQL and Redis.\n\n- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.\n\n- Exposure to cloud-based deployment environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.\n\n- Knowledge of developing scripts using Python and
