The role requires strong software engineering fundamentals, problem-solving skills, and the ability to independently own technical deliverables while collaborating with engineering and cross-functional teams.\n\nResponsibilities: \nOwn and work end-to-end on applications, covering the server, deployment, configuration management, backend application, containers, and database.\nDesign, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable backend applications and services.\nWrite efficient, readable, maintainable, and testable code.\nDesign High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs) based on user and business requirements.\nDevelop web applications, web services, desktop applications, and Windows services as required.\nDevelop, implement, profile, and optimise algorithms for backend software.\nWork with microservice-based applications and REST-based APIs.\nWork with distributed message streaming architectures (such as Apache Kafka).\nWork with relational databases and develop efficient SQL queries.\nContribute to build and configuration management processes.\nFollow software development best practices, including version control, testing, and code quality.\nCollaborate effectively with engineers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality technical solutions.\n\nRequirements: \nB. E. / B. Tech. / M. E. / M. Tech. in Computer Science from a Tier 1 / Tier 2 premier institute.\n2-5 years of relevant software development experience with demonstrated problem-solving skills (Product- based companies or fast-scaling tech startups strongly preferred).\nStrong backend development experience across C++, Java, or Python.\nHands-on experience working with distributed streaming/messaging platforms (Apache Kafka).\nDevelopment experience using a microservice platform/architecture.\nExperience working with REST-based API integration.\nGood RDBMS and SQL skills.\nGood understanding of: Object-oriented design, Design patterns, and Software development frameworks.\nExperience in algorithmic development.\nGood understanding of version control systems (Git).\nStrong end-to-end ownership mindset and ability to independently drive deliverables.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with colleagues at all levels.\n\nGood to Have: \nFamiliarity or exposure to Erlang or Elixir (or strong willingness to learn).\nExposure to databases and associated technologies such as PostgreSQL and Redis.\nKnowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.\nExposure to cloud-based deployment environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.\nKnowledge of developing scripts using Python and Shell.\nKnowledge of working with time-series databases, such
