Software Development Engineer 2

We are looking for an SDE 2 - Frontend Engineer to build scalable, high-performance, and intuitive user experiences for GreyOrange's intelligent automation products. You will work on graphics-intensive and data-driven interfaces, using technologies such as React/Vue.js, HTML Canvas, SVG, and WebGL. You will collaborate closely with designers, backend engineers, and product teams to build reliable products that solve complex real-world challenges.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain scalable frontend applications using React or Vue.js .
• Develop dynamic, graphics-intensive interfaces using HTML Canvas, SVG, or similar technologies.
• Work with PixiJS/WebGL-based libraries to create rich visual experiences.
• Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and product teams to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Optimise applications for performance, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Debug, profile, and resolve complex frontend performance issues.
• Maintain and improve frontend build systems using Node.js, Webpack, and npm.
• Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following engineering best practices.
• Contribute to frontend architecture, code reviews, testing, and technical documentation.
• Support and mentor junior engineers while contributing to frontend best practices.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of professional frontend development experience.
• Strong hands-on expertise in React or Vue.js .
• Experience with HTML Canvas, SVG, or similar graphics technologies.
• Familiarity with PixiJS or WebGL-based libraries is a strong plus.
• Good understanding of Node.js, Webpack, and npm.
• Strong debugging, profiling, and performance optimisation skills.
• Good understanding of modern frontend development practices.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Passion for building clean, maintainable code and intuitive UI/UX.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
