This role is ideal for a technically strong leader with hands-on software development experience, a passion for innovation, and proven expertise in managing teams to build world-class software products.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nTechnical Leadership: Lead and manage the software development life cycle of the team, including architecture, design, coding, testing, and deployment of GreyMatter solutions.\nProduct Development: Work closely with product management, design, and other engineering teams to develop scalable solutions that align with business needs and deliver seamless performance in highstakes environments.\nTeam Management: Mentor and lead a team of software engineers, providing guidance in best practices for software development, code reviews, and technology stack choices. Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation within the team.\nProject Management: Manage multiple development projects, ensuring timely delivery of features, adherence to quality standards, and risk mitigation. Oversee sprint planning, backlog management, and resource allocation.\nInnovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in AI, cloud technologies, and software engineering practices.\nDrive innovation by experimenting with new technologies and processes to enhance the performance and capabilities.\nGood exposure in QA/Validation, test-planning, test-case writing skills. Analytical and Problem solver.\n\nRequirements:\n\nExperience: 10+ years of software development experience with at least 3+ years in a technical leadership or management role.\nEducation: Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related fields. Technical Expertise:\nStrong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, Golang OR Erlang.\nExpertise in designing and developing distributed systems, microservices, and APIs.\nExperience working on REST and asynchronous API integration\nDeep understanding of database technologies (SQL, NoSQL), real-time data processing, and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).\nStrong knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and DevOps practices (CI/CD,monitoring, automation).\nExperience with IoT (Internet of Things) technologies: Strong understanding of IoT frameworks and communication protocols (e.g., MQTT, CoAP, HTTP), and how these technologies integrate with cloud platforms and real-time systems.\nGood understanding of version control systems, build management and testing technologies Design principles for scalable architecture\nLeadership Skills: Proven experience in managing and growing high-performing engineering teams, fostering collaboration, and driving engineering excellence.\nProblem-Solving Skills: Ability to handle complex technical challenges, make sound decisions under pressure, and creatively solve problems with a focus on results.\nCommunication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
