This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with Salesforce in an enterprise environment while contributing to projects that support business operations, improve processes, and enhance the user experience.\nThe ideal candidate has an interest in software development, business applications, and automation, along with a willingness to learn new technologies. Working alongside experienced Salesforce developers and administrators, the intern will gain exposure to the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, development, testing, and deployment.\nPrimary Duties and Responsibilities:\nAssist with the development, configuration, and maintenance of Salesforce applications and functionality.\nSupport the creation and enhancement of Salesforce Flows, validation rules, custom objects, fields, and page layouts.\nGain experience with Salesforce development technologies, including Apex, SOQL, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).\nHelp troubleshoot issues, investigate defects, and implement improvements to existing functionality.\nParticipate in testing, debugging, and validating changes in Salesforce sandbox environments.\nAssist with data analysis, cleanup, and reporting to improve data quality and business processes.\nSupport integrations and automation initiatives involving Salesforce and other enterprise applications.\nCollaborate with developers, administrators, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and develop solutions.\nDocument technical changes, processes, and solutions to support ongoing maintenance.\nParticipate in Agile team activities, including sprint planning, daily standups, and demonstrations.\nExpierence, Skills, and Abilities Required: \nCurrently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field.\nBasic understanding of programming concepts and software development principles.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.\nGood communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.\nStrong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.\nAbility to manage multiple tasks and take initiative when solving problems.\nPreferred (Not Required):\nFamiliarity with Salesforce CRM or Salesforce Trailhead.\nExposure to object-oriented programming languages such as Java, C#, or Apex.\nBasic knowledge of SQL, relational databases, or data modeling.\nFamiliarity with JavaScript, HTML, or CSS.\nExposure to REST APIs, integrations, or workflow automation.\nUnderstanding of Agile development methodologies and tools such as Jira.\nInterest in cloud platforms and enterprise application development.\nWhat You'll Learn\nPractical Salesforce development and administration in an enterprise environment.\nHow business requirements are translated into technical solutions.\nExperience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Salesforce Flow, and SOQL.\nBest practices for application development, testing, documentation, and deployment.\nHow Salesforce integrates with other enterprise systems and data platforms.\nCollaboration within an Agile software development team.\nExposure to real-world business processes and technology initiatives within the commercial real estate finance industry.\nWhat We Offer\nHands-on experience contributing to real business applications and projects.\nMentorship and guidance from experienced Salesforce professionals.\nOpportunities to develop technical, analytical, and professional skills.\nExposure to enterprise technologies, integrations, and software development practices.\nA collaborative environment that encourages learning, problem-solving, and innovation.\nInterns based in the New York office for Summer 2027 are compensated at $29/hour.\nAt Greystone, we believe that finding creative solutions for our clients comes from the collaboration of people with diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
