GRF CPAs & Advisors, based in Bethesda, MD is in search of an Audit Associate to join our team.\nLocation: Bethesda, MD (Hybrid - 3x/week onsite)\nSalary Range: $70,000 - $80,000\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities:\nWork with a team to perform audits of financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)\nAssist the team in planning audit engagements\nPerform tests of internal controls under the supervision of management \nPerform other accounting and auditing duties as assigned by supervisory personnel\nBecome proficient in audit software and other required software as necessary\nInteract with colleagues and staff in a professional manner \nAct as a team player demonstrating high organizational skills\nIdentify potential issues and opportunities for audit efficiencies\nRequirements\n Bachelor’s Degree from accredited college/university (major in business related field is preferable, but not required).\n 0-2 years of related experience.\n Proficiency with computer, including Microsoft Suite, specifically Excel\n Well-rounded knowledge of accounting principles (preferable, but not required)\n Demonstrate analytical skills\n Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and timelines.\n Ability to work independently, use sound judgment and prioritize tasks.\n Excellent oral and written communication skills.\n Ability and willingness to learn\n Benefits\nThis is a full-time position.
