The Production Assistant will work in an office setting and be expected to exhibit professionalism, good communication skills, multi-tasking abilities and be deadline driven. You will work in a team, be trained on formatting guidelines we use, and be responsible for making sure that all reports, financial statements and other documents produced by our accounting personnel are polished, professional and visually appealing for our clients. You will have a keen attention to detail to ensure that all work you are assigned to produce or review is free of errors. A college degree is preferred, but not required for applicants with administrative work experience.\nSalary Range: $52,000 - $56,000\nLocation: Bethesda, MD - hybrid: two days in office; three days work-from-home\nEssential Functions:\nFormats financial statements and other documents using Word, Excel, Adobe and CaseWare software. Training will be provided in CaseWare.\nProofreads and corrects work produced for grammar, punctuation, spelling, and order of assembly to produce error-free, signature-ready work.\nChecks tables of numbers in documents by adding with calculator.\nBinds, collates and copies documents; assembles tax returns and other client files.\nData entry as needed in database. \nUpdates records to accommodate changes in material on file.\nCatalogs and files work in computer directories for ready access by staff.\nAssists in special projects as assigned, such as filings, mailings, and other related tasks. \nAnswers telephone, directs calls and takes messages when receptionist is busy.\nRequirements\n High school diploma or equivalent.\n Proficient in keyboarding at least 75 wpm accurately with error-free spelling, and grammar.\n Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.\n Ability to operate copier, computer, laser printer, calculator, fax machine, and multi-line telephone.\n Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time.\n Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery with skill, speed, and accuracy, and to bind documents.\n Superior attention to detail to proof documents.\n Executes assignments of a confidential nature; requires ability to keep matters confidential.\n Benefits\nThis is a full-time position.
